The house is in a great location but is looking old and worn inside. Great for a group but the kitchen is lacking sharp knives and enough cutlery crockery etc. The bbq has nearly rusted out but still functions. we had issues with our hot water supply and there was a rainstorm and a leak in the upper bedroom which needs to be repaired.

Holiday house has negatives and positives.Negatives - First impression was that it was very ‘tired’ and shabby. Bathroom units were water damaged, curtains thread bare and Venetian blinds broken. Kitchen pots and pans need replacing. More placemats for the table - only 6 but it was a 8 seater table. Floors need a good wash and carpets a good vacuum. Found cans under the coffee table! We washed the outside of the windows as they were covered in salt spray so were hard to see out of. Basically the place needs work, and a thorough clean.Positives - The proximity to the beach is superb. Good Parking for vehicles. The bed linen and bathroom towels were clean and the bathrooms were clean. It had plenty of room for our family (10). The gas bottle ran out and we contacted the host and this was rectified quickly. Overall it is a lot of money for what it is but we did have a great time.

Thank you for sharing such a balanced and detailed review. We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed the proximity to the beach, the parking, and that the home provided plenty of space for your family. It’s also great to know the linen and bathrooms met expectations, and that our team was able to resolve the gas bottle issue promptly during your stay. We also appreciate you taking the time to outline the areas that fell short. A case is currently open to investigate the maintenance and presentation points you raised so these can be addressed and the home can be brought up to an appropriate standard. Feedback like yours is genuinely valuable in helping us identify where improvements are needed. Thank you again for your comments, and we’re glad to hear you still had a great time overall. We would be happy to welcome you back in the future. Warm regards Bachcare
