🕷️🐜🐝🪰Unfortunately, lake life means there may be bugs and cob webs. We clean the cob webs frequently but they return within hours.
⭐Like most Alberta lakes, Lake Isle may have a water quality advisory due to blue green algae. The location of the algae on the lake can change from day to day (where the wind blows). We have found there are always areas on the lake that are swimmable, accessed by watercraft, usually best closer to the middle of the lake. For more information, please check local county website or ask host.
Guest access Pantry and garage are locked and not for guest use.
Other things to note Only guests who are registered at the time of booking are permitted on the premises. No day guests. Limit of 8 guests.

We had a wonderful time at Bethany’s lake home. It is right on the water, idyllic location. We saw ice fishing shacks on the lake. The home was very clean and beautifully decorated. Everything was in great condition and well stocked. We would definitely rebook again!
We had the best weekend in this lovely cottage. The views were amazing, the cottage was cute and comfortable, and being able to use the SUP/kayaks make it extra special.

Thank you for coming! You are welcome back anytime!
We had a very relaxing stay. The kitchen had everything that we needed to make our meals. This rental has a few extra touches, such as USB power plugs (and a few charge cables) around the cabin, throw blankets, and provided bottled water. Communication with the host was excellent. Wish we were still there.

An adorable getaway! Two of us stayed for a week in early spring and it was magical. Weather was great. We kayaked a bit. House was beautiful and had everything we needed. Will stay again for certain! Working remotely was blissful with the view in the sunroom. Thank you for the space!!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We welcome you back anytime! Thank you for taking such good care of our cottage during your stay!
A wonderful cabin located right on the shore of a quaint lake. A reflective time to watch the birds and enjoy time with friends. I was midweek so there was not a lot of going on with the neighbors. Comfy and cozy. We also enjoyed access to the canoe and fire pit.

We are so happy you enjoyed your time! You are welcome back anytime!
We had such a lovely stay during the last weekend in August. The cottage is beautiful - comfortable, clean and modern. The hosts had thought of everything and we appreciated the little touches from hidden candy (we travelled with young children) to a canister in the bathroom with additional supplies you might forget in a pinch. The beds were comfy and linens and towels were good quality. Kitchen was well equipped with the latest gadgets (Ninja, coffee maker etc.). We loved having access to kayaks/ canoes too - that really made the trip given proximity to the lake! The area is friendly/ welcoming and peaceful on an evening. One thing to note is that you're a ways out from any large stores so be sure to come equipped. We had a great time and will be back for sure!!

About the host
Hosted by Bethany
As a Christian host, not only do I want guests of the cottage to be happy, I also would love for my guests to enjoy God's creation, and this cottage offers the warmth and ideal location to make that happen!
Why they chose this property
We always wanted a cottage, and we chose this location/lake primarily because my husband and I enjoy fishing and being on the water. This lake was his go to place for ice fishing even prior to owning our cottage, and it's great that it's less than an hour from Edmonton. Being on the water... now that was a dream come true!
What makes this property unique
While our cottage isn't perfect, it's warm and inviting. We offer a dock, two kayaks *designed for fishing*, a smaller kayak for children, a canoe that seats 3, and two stand up inflatable paddleboards during the late spring, summer and early fall which can be used to enjoy some of the majestic views and fantastic fishing that this lake has to offer. You can fish right off the dock!
