Perfect location to explore Marina district, Crissy Field or Presidio. Shops, bay and history all within walking distance. Space is clean, good shower.
Stayed 2 weeks (which means great price break on a per night basis) and had everything I needed for a working visit. Comfortable, small basement studio on a flat street with a lovely patio garden. Built-in desk, multiple outlets. Easy access to neighborhood restaurants on Chestnut and in the Presidio, and two blocks from the waterfront Marina Green. Good WiFi, but note there may be marginal cell phone coverage indoors. Situated next to an elementary school, so there is some lively kid noise during the day. It’s charming. I’d stay here again.

Deborah, two weeks in a basement studio with a proper desk and a patio garden to decompress in sounds like the right setup for a working visit. The Marina Green being two blocks away never hurts either. Hope the next project brings you back this way.
Mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable and needs a new one, and bed is creaky. Also,c leave a normal blanket, as the comforter is not cozy.

To begin with, this is fake "studio". One bedroom with a sink, small refrigerator and microwave oven. Bathroom, a miniature sink; not usable (check it out...). Access thru the two keypads, confusing idiosyncratic differ between the two. A second entrance door adds to the confusion. Even for the Marina district, pricing is excessive. Shame on Vrbo. Next trip to SF, hotel.
I was a solo traveler and I used to live in San Francisco before so I knew that this was a really good part of town where I would be safe. I felt very secure here. It was a great location I could get to the Palace of fine arts. I could get to the Golden gate bridge. I could get to Union Street, Chestnut Street, Fillmore Street, etc. It was a nice size room that was cute and cozy and quiet. You have your own little garden in the back. You have your own private entrance. There was a Brita water pitcher which was nice and carried coffee maker and the microwave and some really good quality shampoo and conditioner in the shower. I would definitely stay here again. Was a little pricey but I think everything in San Francisco is going to be.
