The house is a very quiet location about 20 minutes from Lagos and 25 km from Sagres, in the middle of an ecological landscape, about 2 km from Barão de São João, where locals and tourists enjoy the evening in the pubs. The beautiful beaches of the Algarve are only a short drive away.

July/August 2019 visit

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at this villa. Elke was very helpful and accommodating. The property was even better than we saw in the photographs. The weather was great, hot with a strong wind most days that helped to cool us down! We used the pool everyday. We walked into the village several times and had lovely food at Bar Caramba. Wunderbar zum entspannen!

Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus in einem top-Zustand! Alles vorhanden, was man braucht, alles intakt und sehr sauber! Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub in dem Haus, selbst fürs Baby war alles da, was man so braucht (Hochstuhl, Babybett, sogar ein Planschbecken!). Der Pool ist so groß, dass man einige Schwimmzüge machen kann und man hat verschiedene Möglichkeiten, draußen zu essen! Mandeln und frische Feigen vom Baum am Pool standen dann auch jeden Tag auf dem Tisch - ein wunderbares Ferienziel, wenn man mal Abstand vom Großstadt-Trubel braucht!

Pure Erholung in einer abwechslungsreichen Umgebung!

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr erholsam abseits des Trubels. Mit dem Auto erreicht man trotzdem in Kürze die schönen Stränden der Algarve sowie die traumhafte und wilde Westküste Portugals. Der Nahe gelegene Ort hat jedoch nichts zu bieten, falls man ein Restaurant aufsuchen möchte, muss man mit dem Auto fahren. Wir haben uns abends häufig am gut ausgestatten Haus aufgehalten, ein Gasgrill ist vorhanden.

Vielen Dank liebe Gäste für die nette Bewertung. Allerdings gibt es in Barao de Sao Joao etliche Restaurants wie z.B. das Restaurante Taberna D'Maria , ebenso die Atabai Bar & Restaurante, das Restaurant O Beiral , dann noch das Restaurant Rosco's Tutti Paletti und das Caramba Bar & Restaurant, die allesamt in Tripadvisor zu finden sind und man diese in 15-20 Gehminuten erreichen kann. Ihr wart liebe Gäste und wir würden uns freuen euch irgendwann einmal wieder begrüßen zu können.

fantastischer Urlaub. .. .

Wir hätten den schönsten Urlaub. ...Super schönes Haus mit Pool. ...modern eingerichtet ....um geben von Feigen u Mandel Bäumen....Ruhe ohne Ende...zentral gelegen für beide Seiten von Portugal...wirklich erholsam... Das war nicht das letzte mal.....

Casa Amendoas in Barao

Hallo Elke, Roland und Sandra, Alle Jahre wieder !! Auch in diesem Jahr werden wir, wie schon viele Jahre zuvor, gerne Eure Gäste sein. Das wird dann unser 5. Aufenthalt in der Casa Amendoas sein. Für uns ist es wie ein zweites Zuhause. Wir lieben die Abgeschiedenheit und die Stille an der Peripherie von Barao. Wir haben noch nie ein so schönes Ferienhaus gehabt! Tagsüber in Salema am Strand oder Ausflüge zur Weinverkostung oder zur „Letzten Bratwurst vor Amerika“ und abends dann den Grill anwerfen und den Tag in angenehmer Atmosphäre ausklingen lassen. Wir haben in den letzten Jahren dank Eurer Empfehlungen viel entdeckt und doch gibt es jedes Jahr etwas Neues zu sehen. Wir freuen uns bereits auf das Wiedersehen in wenigen Monaten und verbleiben bis dahin mit freundlichen Grüßen. Eure Dresdener Rolf und Lara 21.06.2015

Casa Asmendoa

Sehr nette Gastgeber. Gut ausgestattete Unterkunft in absolut ruhiger Alleinlage, super schöner Pool, sehr schöner Strand (Meia Praia) in nur 15 Minuten erreichbar. Wer Ruhe und Erholung vom stressigen Alltag sucht ist hier genau richtig. Wir freuen uns seit Jahren, unseren Urlaub bei Elke und Roland verbringen zu dürfen.

Ruhe und Pool

Das sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienhaus und natürlich der Pool (nur für uns!) waren allein schon die Reise an die Algarve wert! Wer wie wir keine überfüllten Strände mag und lieber Ausflüge in die Umgebung macht, ist hier genau richtig. Und abends auf der Terrasse sitzen oder den wirklich riesigen Garten durchwandern. Lieben Dank an Familie Stocker!
