Funky Studio was perfect for us to use as a base to explore the far north and Bay of Islands. Being pet friendly made it even better. It was great to have our small dog with us. The unit was clean and easy to keep tidy.

Great place to stay! We called this cabin home for a week and it had everything we needed. Super close to shops and restaurants and the host is very happy to suggest places to visit and ways to spend time in the Bay of Islands region!

The Bay of Islands is a beautiful place to live or visit. We enjoy quiet beaches and islands at our doorstep, lots of nature walks, and swimming all year round. Sea temperatures hover around 16° in winter to 22/23° throughout summer.

This affordable, nicely appointed, and cosy apartment is ideally located for an stress-free stay, and to enjoy everything the Bay of Islands offers.
