Large house with great location....

The house is in a great location relative to everything you might want to do in Raleigh. Very comfortable common areas. Nice televisions. Fast internet. We were in town for a football game, and this house worked great for a group of us. The owner was very responsive and great to work with. I would stay here again for sure.

Wonderful Mini Mansion

Came to town for a soccer tournament. We have 7 girls playing looking to get recruited for a college program. We were able to eat, relax and rest before each game and had a wonderful time together. Two girls received potential offers from excellent programs. Thankbyou so much for allowing us to stay in such a beautiful and comfortable home.

Duke Weekend

Graduation weekend. This house was able to accommodate 9 people. Ideal, if you just need a place to sleep. One bedroom on 1st floor- the 2 full bathrooms are on the 2nd floor which can be inconvenient. The kitchen was not appointed for a large group. It’s located on a busy street and the driveway only accommodates two vehicles.

ManTrip 2023

A group of us meet every year for an away Clemson football game and this year was NC State! We had a great time at the Mighty Mansion! Everything in the listing was exactly as we expected! I would 100% recommend staying at this property! everything was super close! The best part is...two separate living rooms! with 8 queen beds it was a Great property for large groups!

Pros and Cons

The house has a good number of beds and rooms, but the large room downstairs with 4 beds has a glass door, so no privacy. We had a group of 8 and it was nice to be able to sit at the same table to eat together. However, the hot water was definitely not able to keep up even though we tried to stagger shower times. The biggest con is that although the house seems to be in a decent area, there is consistent traffic noise, especially at night. As it is an older house, it just doesn't block out the noise of engines revving at 2am. We enjoyed the stay, and for the price the house was decent, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Ladies Getaway

We had 15 ladies booked but ended up with 11 which was fortunate as we would have been really cozy otherwise. The beds were amazing, very comfortable. The room with 4 queen beds was a bit strange for adult women who like their space but we managed. The kitchen was not well stocked for cooking. Only one mixing bowl, no extra salad or large bowls or casserole dishes. There were only 8 forks so we had to buy plastic. It could use a restock of basic essentials. Would have loved a blender too, just because we like frozen cocktails. One whole room was a giant desk which for our group was wasted space. There were no outdoor furnishings available. If we had known that, we could have brought camp chairs so we could sit outside.The location was great - very convenient to downtown Raleigh and several great restaurants.Owner was very nice when we accidentally locked ourselves out! He was readily available and quick to respond to our need.
