The house, the location, and wow, what a view! All three generations loved the beach. The listing was accurate (except there was no garage parking or firepit) but there were no major surprises. We did have a slight water issue, but Carolyn was right on it and the issue was fixed immediately. The kitchen could have used a few more things that we've come to expect (foil, enough napkins/paper towels), but nothing that hindered us from have a great time. While not perfect, 4 stars seemed to low so we gave it a 5!
Beautiful home with fabulous views. Clean and had everything we needed. Perfect for a local weekend family get away and we appreciated we could bring our furry family member too. We will be back.
Beautiful home - beautiful location. Very comfortable and difficult to leave. Everything was prepared for us and made out vacation a very positive stay,
Our family had a wonderful stay here, the views were amazing. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and plenty of space to hang out and play games. Would stay here again! The window wall that opens was the best part, especially with the beautiful weather we had.
Beautiful place. Exceeded expectations with amount of room, beds, and amenities. My husband and I play several other couple friends stayed for two nights over the new year holiday. My husband brought his chrome cast to connect to the TV to guarantee we could get all the football games. Sadly the tide was high during all the daylight hours so we couldn’t walk on the beach, but hope to return and get to do that another time. The owners live on the same street, so when we called for help with the TV and fireplace they came right over. FYI Hot tub is the whirlpool tub in the master bedroom upstairs not an out door hot tub. Also they put the gas fire pit away for the winter.
This home is just beautiful. Very clean and many amenities. Gorgeous views our family had a lovely relaxing time and our grand girls enjoyed paddle boarding walks on the beach and in the state park works exceptional. I would like to add that the outdoor furniture and gas grill Have been well used and are a bit wobbly and uncomfortable. We would definitely vacation in this home again!
The house was great for our weekend getaway. Plenty of room beautiful views and a great beach. Carolyn was great as well and very responsive to our requests. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit
Fun location, great layout for a group. Would stay there again.

Of course the view and location is amazing. We were quite upset with the condition of the BBQ we planned to use for two dinners. The BBQ was literally falling apart and rusted out. The owner next door brought us a brush to clean the grill. There was no cleaning this grill it was that rusted and deteriorated. Next door owners ended up spending 2 hours cleaning their own grill in our yard of the rental property for our use. We did appreciate the use of their grill although a bit uncomfortable while they were cleaning it. There was no access to the beach as advertised. The first day we got their the owner and his son spent several hours moving drift wood and came back the next day with a chain saw to make a path to the beach. While we appreciate all this it was on our time (no privacy). There were 8 girls with lots of food. We needed to use the additional refrigerators in the garage. The one refrigerator was disgustingly dirty (used to refrigerate fish.) The other refrigerator broke down first day we were there. Advertising says there is a 3 car garage and parking for 5 cars. The garage was full of contents stored in no organized manner. We had no use of the garage and could only park 4 cars in the driveway. Advertising mentions a hot tub. There is no hot tub. There is a soaking tub in one of the bathrooms. The outdoor wood furniture should be disposed of. Its old and a liability if it collapses when sat on. We felt these things should have been addressed before we arrived.

Hello Melody
I am so sorry about the BBQ. During our last Storm the doors were ripped off and living on the salt water rusts out our BBQs yearly. We did provide you with a new Weber BBQ.
Also the tide brings in logs on all high tides on a daily basis. Logs gp in and out. Because you did not want to cross the logs, we spent several hours removing the logs for you. We normally do not clear a path until the end of our King tide season which is usually the end of May.
We normally do not allow rentals the garage space as there are personal items in there. We do have a personal refer in the garage that we use for our fish and crab.
Unfortunately VRBO lists all Jacuzziis as hot tubs and I cannot change that.
We stayed for 3 weeks at this amazing location! The home is spacious, clean, had everthing you could need, and the views and atmosphere were absolutely stunning! From early morning sunrises and coffee... to sunset cocktails and gas fire pit... you will never get tired of the views and relaxation! We saw Seals every day and on the few days when it did rain or was overcast, there is an inside fire place that is cozy and makes for amazing movie nights and family time!We loved every minute, the owners were responsive and friendly and we would gladly stay here again! We made memories that we will cherish forever!
I came her for a girls getaway reunion with 5 friends from college. The house was perfect with plenty of space, well appointed kitchen, and beautiful views! Check in was super easy as the host was next door and came to let us in. We never left the property once checked in! We were hoping to make s’mores at a fire pit but that wasn’t available when we were there. Regardless we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!
My family loved staying here and we wish we didnt have to leave. The home was great and the view is stunning. We will drfinitely be returning for a longer stay next time.
This is the first time we've ever gone back to the same property twice, it's just that good. The house is immaculate. The beds are fabulous. The hospitality is top notch .. and then there are the whales!!! Literally nothing more to ask for, just perfect all around.
The house is just magical. I could never get tired of that view or walks on the beach. The house was perfect for our "girls" weekend. We baked bread, cooked meals, and spend hours gazing at the water while doing craft projects and chatting. The beds were comfortable and the views from the bedrooms were just as magical as the view from the living room. Wish I could live here.
The property is at a perfect location; the views of the beach and Mount Rainier could not be more spectacular. The house has everything a group needs and is very comfortable. We look forward to returning next year.
Stayed here for the second time with a group of girlfriends. It's super clean, check-in/out is easy, and the location is beautiful. The property is currently on the market and I really hope the new buyer keeps it as a VRBO rental.
