The Eagle's Rest is a lakefront cabin located on the north shore of the Lake Quinault inside the Olympic National Park. Family trip to the lake

Overall the cabin was a really nice place for a weekend at the lake. It had pretty much everything you need to enjoy the lakefront: grill, canoe, large porch to enjoy the view.

Perfect Lake Location

This property is perfect for a lake vacation. We would like to come back for a longer stay and enjoy the lake. We were there for the National Park so did not get to spend much time at the house. It was perfect for two couples. We each hadnour own bedroom and bathroom. Place was well stockdd and peaceful. Not the cleansst place but typical for a lake cottage.

Perfect for pets and family

Loved this property, great location and perfect for pets. It rained the entire time and had a power outage but the property was well layed out and open floor plan so plenty of space. Very nice hiking trails close by.

Beautiful scenery, comfortable living arrangements

The house expanded perfectly for our group. We love the multiple porches and dock. We used the canoes every day and watched the stars at night from the dock.

House was dirty. The outside seating was very uncomfortable. Had a very musty smell. Washer flooded all over the floor… twice. And this was after the manager/owner said it was fixed but then texted a day later to not use the machine. There were cobwebs and mouse droppings in drawer. Very disappointed but the view was great. Would stay elsewhere for the view next time. The garage was the biggest mess I’ve ever seen and smelled that ran throughout the house. New fridge and dishwasher. Windows were filthy.

Peaceful Hideaway on the lake

Or family (Grandkids, Parents and Grandparents) had a mini-spring break at this cute little cabin. There was plenty of room for the six of us, access to the lake was wonderful and the canoes were an added bonus. Thank you.

Rustic with a gorgeous view

This was exactly what our family was looking for! Amazing location, the lake view from the deck was breathtaking. The house itself is rustic but functional and clean. It has all the essentials and the location close to the Pacific Ocean and the park destinations were exactly what we needed. Our only hiccup was a brief loss of power to the area one afternoon but the owner was prompt with communication via text and the power was restored quickly by local utility crews.

Epic Views!

You can see the lake from almost every window. The decks and fire pit area were beautiful. We loved being so close to all of the South West parts of Olympic National Park. Quinault Village is very close and worth the trip. Easy Drive to the beaches and Hoh Rain forest. The house had plenty of blankets and the beds were comfy. The kitchen had all the necessities a microwave, cookware, drip coffee maker, and a Keurig-style coffee maker. Lots of DVDs to choose from. The house had everything we needed and we would happily stay here again.

False hope

A very poor place to stay. The house was put together by someone who knew nothing about construction. Shower terrible with no soap or shampoo. Fixtures leaked. Only good thing was the view.

The location of this cabin is wonderful and the views are spectacular. You can look straight across the lake to the Quinault Lodge. We had mist roll in over the mountains every evening and it was lovely.It was a good location to see many of the Ocean beaches and the Hoh Rain Forest.The cabin is pretty rustic as discribed so I was expecting this however, there was not much for cooking utensils and cookware supplies which was dissapointing since there are very few restaurants in the area and we planned to cook our dinners in the cabin. I made a recommendation for a few things I thought would be helpful. I hope they take note for the next guests. Watch the elevation change on the upper deck. There are many levels and its hard to see that there are steps down to the next level. I recommended they be marked. Its really hard to see at dusk. Overall it was fair but might make a different choice next time around.

Beautiful log cabin, had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were so comfortable. The view from the deck is incredible, and the canoes were a wonderful surprise. Make sure to stay up late and catch the moon rising over the mountains, was quite possibly the most magical thing Ive ever witnessed. We seen a deer munching on the vegetation alot of slugs, they were so cool! Only problem was that the washer machine leaks, other than that it was a perfect getaway

The house is dated but comfortable.Our family enjoy the amazing view from the deck. The lake was very calm in the morning so we were able to take out the canoe. The fire pit was nice also.

My husband and cousin and i enjoyed a few days exploring the Lake Quinault region of the Olympic National Park and Forest. This cottage location was very convenient. Lovely views of the lake and unusual beach area under a tree root backdrop. Very comfortable living quarters without being overly fussy. We were able to cook and enjoy meals outside on the deck and had dinner at the not too far away Lodge across the lake. We went out each day to explore and hike thru some memorable forest and unbelievable huge old trees. We had a great time thank you.

Mold issues

The view is stunning and a great location. However the house smells strongly of mold. It seems to be coming from the back bedroom and garage. We left early.

Gorgeous view the of lake and mountains. easy access to the hiking trails. We are continuously improving and add amenities to the property. Both bathrooms have been totally remodeled this winter(2021).
