Host very kind and accommodating. Easy and smooth transaction. House is clean. If only more utensils, pots and pans can be added for the kitchen.

This property had the rooms were looking for, but the beds were hard and furnishings were not functional in some aspecs. Reno was apparent but had garbage in front and back of property. Had a TV but no cable or anything (remote)

The house was fairly well cleaned but poorly stocked. Pots and pans did not work on the stove top. There were no instructions for the stove top which was an induction model with no induction pots provided. we were extremely disappointed with the honesty of the host. We could not get internet at the property. He gave us phony network names and passwords. He then gave us a tablet to use as a hotspot. It worked one day and ran out of data, even though he guaranteed it would be more than enough for the tv and remote work that needed to be done. He admitted as we were leaving that he did not ever have internet access at the house because he was trying to sell it. As a guest I understood my responsibility and lived up to it. I felt betrayed by the host. Communication was extremely poor and very non existent at times. I would not recommend staying at this property because you simply cannot trust this host to do what he said he would do. This host gets a ZERO rating and should not be entitled to be on the VRBO app.

Great location, but place is missing lots of household items
Mixed feelings on this stay. Positives were:-location-some spacious rooms-park right behind the house that kept our kids entertainedNegatives:-no air conditioning. It was HOT in the house. No fans.-grass was quite long -missing a lot of household items. We had to go purchase dish cloths, a broom, a whisk, a mixing bowl, etc. The whole point of staying here rather than at a hotel was so we could cook our own food and all be together but it was difficult to do with missing utensils, etc.-communication: I had to reach out to the host to get info about wifi etc, there was minimal information send over prior to checking in.-one of the showers was out of order/leaking upstairs.Overall the place worked okay for us because we were mostly just there to sleep, and we were out exploring most of the day. But if we had been staying there all day it would have been uncomfortably hot.

Never again
The yard and outside needed trash picked up, inside was clean. In one bathroom we couldn’t shower because it leaked, we were told that the plumper was coming to fix it he never came. There was no place to hang towels. The kitchen didn’t have adequate cook wear, silverware, and no dishwasher detergent. We didn’t have WiFi and the owner hooked up his phone as the solution and never came back to fix it. Beds were hard and had terrible pillows, if we had another option we would have left.

The house is pretty... But only functional. It is nice that it's close enough to the middle of the city it doesn't take long to get anywhere. Two of the 5 beds are old and one is a thin spring mattress that was lumpy and hard as a board. There needs to be more instructions around parking since the neighbors are very possessive of the front and back of their houses. Garbage cans in every room would be nice. Should probably reduce the amount of lock boxes so we know which one has the key in. And the furnace rattles and had tiles on it that were about to fall. Also the downstairs bathroom shower sets off the smoke alarm.
The space itself was pretty good for 13 of us. Enough rooms, beds, and bathrooms for all of us.
The kitchen downstairs was very useful for our teenagers. Complaints:- washer/dryer was not installed. Had to request it. Installed it during our stay. Had to help owner with dryer. One guest injured his hand trying to lift it. Could not do laundry when needed. Had to buy clothes at Walmart. - 3rd shower was broken. Said we could use it but would make a big mess if we did. Did offer to call a plumber in but family did not want to deal with more people during our stay. - Wifi not available. Tried to help us to turn it on through a tablet but tablet was not easily accessible. Had to install our star-link for wifi- TV upstairs but no cable. Not a smart tv so could not connect streaming services.- Beds were rock hard, mattresses were very thin. We had to buy some toppers to be able to sleep comfortably. - Bathrooms don’t lock. The owner shared that the machines had broken and he was in the middle of renovations. He said he did not have time to replace things between guest checking in and out. I explained even if he would have sent me a message prior about it, we could have planned accordingly. Although the owner was very helpful, these things could have been prevented. I also think it’s important to put the house as unavailable while renovations/fixes happen rather than keep renting it out. Or give people a heads up and plan to have people available to fix or install things so it does not affect the paying guests.
