Surrounded by many trails for hiking/snowshoeing, mountain biking, hunting/fishing. Federated trails near the chalet without disturbing privacy.

The accommodation

Chalets located in mountainous and wooded terrain at an altitude of 2000 feet. Located in the majestic Mégantic region which is renowned for its national dark sky reserve. Access to 9 trout lakes, fishing rights (permit required), small beach, ATV and snowmobile trails near the chalet. Exceptional site for hiking, snowmobiling, forest walking, snowshoeing, fishing, hunting small game, deer and moose.

Mont-Gosford 5 minutes away. Mont-Megantic National Park (Observatory) 10 minutes from the cottage.

Access to the Montagne de Marbre for off-piste skidoo.

Boat descent 15 minutes from the cottages to navigate on Lake Mégantic

No cell phone network or WIFI - you'll really get away from it all :-)

** NO RUNNING WATER. Just before your arrival, 2 18-liter bottles will have been filled with fresh drinking water for drinking.

** NO SHOWER. Inside the cottage, you have a boiler toilet.

Fully equipped kitchenette with all the kitchen essentials. Small fridge, toaster, propane stove and outside propane BBQ, dishes, pots and utensils.

BEDS:
- 2 Queen bunk beds
1 child-size single bed.

MAXIMUM 4 ADULTS AND 1 CHILD.

Camp bed available on request only.

Complete bedding, toilet paper and paper towels provided.

** VERY IMPORTANT: it is best to arrive before sunset because it is in the mountains and it gets very dark at night. This will save you complications in finding the chalet.
