Classic Canadian Log home on a private lake, with acres to explore!
Trout Lake is located on private property, in the municipality of Piopolis, Quebec, near the southern end of Lake Megantic. In the heart of the Eastern Townships, within the International Dark Sky Reserve of the nearby Mont Megantic National Park and Observatory, the property is remote but easily accessible and offers activities in all four seasons.
A clear dark night will show you more stars that you thought possible.
The centennial log cottage was built in 1896 and offers classic comfort with modern amenities.
The first floor has a large granite fireplace, living room space, card table, large dining table, bar, kitchen and toilet.
The second floor has 6 rooms (7 single beds, 2 double beds, 1 Queen), and a bathroom (shower and toilet).
The front porch offers a peaceful view of the lake. A canoe, kayak, rowboat, and peddle boat are available for use.
The backside has a large picnic table and gas bbq.
Flyfishing rights are available at an additional cost. Only flyfishing is permitted on this lake.

Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et sympathiques. Ils se sont assurés que les accès et que tout fonctionne malgré la tempête de neige.Un vrai chalet à la fois traditionnel, fonctionnel et propre. Le lieu est typique et remplit d'histoire. randonnée de raquette dans les sentiers très agréable. Gardez le secret, nous aimerions y retourner!
