Birchwood #8 has been fully remodeled from floor to ceiling, adding an additional bedroom and living space to the cabin’s original rustic design. Now with a sweeping cathedral ceiling and modern updates, this cabin shines as the ultimate lakefront getaway. Perched just feet from the water’s edge, the sunrise views of Little Saint Germain Lake, a private dock and firepit, will leave you with lasting memories of your Northwoods vacation.

Cabin #8 is one story, with limited steps and a level lakefront location. The cabin welcomes you to an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen, all under the warm glow of knotty pine accents and rustic wood beams. The kitchen is a welcome nod to modern luxuries with granite countertops, new appliances and all the amenities of home to cook and entertain on your lakefront vacation. Cozy up around the gas fireplace while watching the lakefront right outside your cabin’s door.

Three bedrooms boast new furniture and mattresses, creating a cozy space to end your day after adventuring in the Northwoods. A main, primary suite has a queen bed and an attached bath for additional privacy and comfort. Down the hall you’ll find another bedroom with a queen bed and a third bedroom with a queen, twin bunkbed, a favorite for the younger travelers in your group. A sleeper sofa in the living room can be used for additional sleeping accommodations.

Birchwood Resort has been upgraded and reimagined to showcase the rustic style of the Northwoods and the natural beauty of the resorts ¼ mile of frontage on Little Saint Germain Lake. A private, sandy beach is at the center of the resort, providing a safe and memorable space to swim and splash in the water. Kayaks, canoe and peddle boat are available for guest use, perfect for exploring the island just off shore.

Little Saint Germain Lake is a 972 acre lake with several bays to explore and enjoy. Known for great fishing and boating, anglers find musky, panfish, bass, pike and walleye. Winter adventures are even more fun with over 500+ miles of snowmobile trail throughout Vilas county.

Fun cabin

We enjoyed our stay in Birchwood 8. We really enjoyed meeting new friends who were staying in another cabin. We didn’t know them before, but our kids found each other and had a blast on the water and the beach together. The only downside was slow wifi at night when we wanted to stream a movie and some lighting issues in the kitchen. The property managers handled everything very quickly.

Great property to go for a stroll, amazing view out the window. Level ground to the dock. An outstanding staff of Angela, Gwen and Robin. Robin could easily be a concierge at a 5 Star hotel, she went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. We have rented from Hiller's for many years and have never been disappointed.

You get what you pay for

It was expensive but the access to the lake and all the amenities was worth it. You might need to bring air mattress or sleeping bag as there are 5 beds total.

Nice to have you own disgnated dock with flip down cleats. As the bedrooms lack closests a nice improvement would be some wall hooks where you could hang your clothes already on hangers. Very surprised that the cabin did not have somoke detectors in any bedrooms are hallway as interior is all wood. Cabin is convient to boat landing and St Germain. St Germain is a freindly town with about anything you need while on vacation. The same deer came down every evening to eat the grass around the cabins. A buck two does and a fawn.
