The host was very responsive during the booking, deposit, last payment, and check in day when acquiring the code to enter the residence. The next day, after a very late check in, I sent a message advising that she may wish to be aware that the cleaner, who presumably cleaned after the guests prior to us, did not empty the dishwasher. I also conveyed that the toilet paper holder in the main bathroom closest to the front door was slightly unhinged in case she was unaware - and I asked if she knew where the TV remote for the MB was. I never received a reply back - not in the 3.5 day stay. Since the property does’t have air conditioning, upon arrival, the home was extremely hot/stuffy. We immediately opened all the windows (including the sliding balcony door) while fumbling to turn on lights. 1) I strongly recommend that the host strike through “balcony” under amenities further advising that the balcony is under construction. A post it note on the window was the only warning and it was unseen until the next morning. Thankfully, we stepped off immediately upon feeling the spongy unsafe flooring. 2) We have doubts that the home was professionally cleaned. The tub appeared clean but had a filmy feel and the grout in the tiled flooring, the baseboards, and certain windows could be cleaned more thoroughly. 3) Not enough toilet or paper towel. 4) the second bedroom bed was quite uncomfortable and was very “makeshift”. 5) TV box is not up-to-date so we could not sign into apps.
