The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure that the screen door is retracted before leaving.
Clean the grill and grease can. We have had nighttime visits from a bear. Please store the grill in the bunkhouse, but do not block the trash can, as the trash company needs access.
Trash protocol: the brown outdoor trash can needs to be stored in the bunkhouse (to keep the bears from getting into it). It needs to be by the door and not blocked by the grill.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
For the health of our septic, please do not flush any feminine products, condoms, or wipes down the toilet. Do not pour bleach or grease into drains.
For the time being, the outdoor trash can is stored in the bunkhouse. Close trash bags tightly and make sure the brown trash can is closed.
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please adhere to this rule as our permit could be revoked.

About the host
Hosted by KRISTA CRAVEN
My name is Krista. My husband, Andrew, and I live in St. Paul, MN. We have three kids. Our oldest is married, and they farm an hour north of the Twin Cities. Very exciting! We have a daughter who is in college and our youngest son is just finishing high school.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this cabin just as the pandemic was starting and shortly after I lost both of my parents. The cabin and its beautiful setting was a welcome distraction and a lovely place to heal as our family grieved the loss of my parents and also navigated the challenges the pandemic brought to our kids. We hope that those renting the cabin will also be blessed by this amazing, beautiful, peaceful place!
What makes this property unique
A quiet lake, great for fishing! A peaceful neighborhood on a dead-end road. Did I mention the breathtaking sunsets?!?!
