My name is Jolene, and I am the owner and senior designer of JT Interiors. In 2021, I started my first Airbnb, Glamping at Oak Lake Beach, and I couldn't wait to do it again. In 2024, 544 Lyons Street became my next project. Over the course of 100 days, it was transformed from what was destined to be a teardown into Lyons Manor. A tremendous amount of blood, sweat, and tears went into saving this house. We are currently in the process of completing the exterior and restoring the shed.

Why they chose this property

I loved this neighborhood for many reasons. It is close to walking trails, the school, Lyons Park, and downtown. The arena, curling rink, ball diamonds, pool, splash pad, and bike park are all just five blocks away.

What makes this property unique

This is a character home built in the 1890s. When it was originally constructed, it had no indoor plumbing. The house underwent an extensive renovation in the 1970s and was restored again in 2024. The previous owner, who is over 80, lived in the home as a child. During our open house, she showed how she used to ride the banister as a child. She was overjoyed that we had maintained its original charm.
