This Rent In Highlands vacation rental home is pet friendly for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved. An additional non-refundable pet fee is required and is not included in the rental fee. Please call our office for approval and to pay the pet  fee. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $1000.00 fine.

Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.

This home has an exterior camera overlooking the driveway for security purposes.

Your Highlands adventure begins at this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house situated at the end of the road, perched on a hill. All 3 bedrooms have flat screen smart HDTV’s connected to cable and include HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax. This lovely property offers a generous amount of space for guests to relax and unwind. The vaulted ceiling windows in the great room give it a bright and airy feeling. Located just a short distance off of Hwy 64, but far enough on the back side of a ridge to block practically any traffic noise, you'll enjoy the quiet and serenity this home offers.  Just 5 miles to main street Highlands and 6 miles to Cashiers crossroads, you're conveniently located close to miles of hiking trails, waterfalls, creeks and rivers, lakes, many golf courses, and interesting shops and superb restaurants.

Main Level:
Walking into the home you're greeted with an open concept floorplan and vaulted ceilings.  The cozy great room is open to the kitchen and dining nook with a table for six. Two sliding doors lead out to the front deck. There is plenty of seating with a reading nook under the stairs. The stacked stone, wood burning fireplace with gas starter, 55" flat screen smart HDTV with DVD player and a Sony sound system are perfect for movie nights. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the necessities. On this level you will find the main level primary bedroom and the main level guest bedrooms. The primary bedroom is furnished with a queen sized bed and private ensuite bathroom. Just down the hall is the guest bedroom which is also furnished with a queen sized bed. Across the hall you find a full bathroom with tub/shower combo.

Upper Level:
Venture upstairs and you'll find a sleeper sofa in the loft and the upper level primary bedroom with a king sized bed and private ensuite bathroom. The loft also has a nice, very functional office with a monitor and laser printer/copier for guest use.

Outdoor Space:
The screened covered porch on the side of the house looks out into the trees above a little ravine with a creek flowing through it. Peaceful and relaxing, it invites you to "sit a spell", especially during the summer when the temperatures rarely get above 80 degrees. The open deck on the front of the house includes a dining table and Weber gas grill to enjoy dinner al fresco and catch glimpses of the sunset, especially in the winter months when the leaves are off the trees.

Please respect the neighbors privacy and do not use any adjoining driveways to turn around.

Great New Year!

This property sits in a nice neighborhood directly between Cashiers and Highlands, as advertised. The community is quiet and you feel like you are in a tree house. There is a stream that runs through the community and it is so soothing. Very walkable throughout the community too. Inside was extremely clean and we personally love that the kitchen was well stocked not only with the more than generous cookware, but also condiments like salt/pepper and other spices that not all rentals have. The vaulted wood ceiling made the place feel so open. 2 patios, one screened in and one not which was also another benefit. The hosts were extremely responsive and answered any question I had. I didn’t need to ask also though because the information provided for the property was very organized. The decor within are nice, a tad outdated but did not bother us because the place as a whole was so nice and it is represented exactly as on the we website. We highly recommend and hope to stay again!
