A friend and I spent the weekend here during the autumn. Beautiful location right on the lake, bright, clean and comfortable accommodations, canoe and kayaks freely available, and all the kitchen equipment you could possibly need. 5 minute drive to a bunch of beautiful shore fishing spots as well.
Great time at the cottage! Everything was as advertised and described.

Clear instructions from the host, easy to get a hold of property manager. Friendly service, cottage was clean, easy to find required items such as blankets, towels, linens, great location. Had a wonderful time during November so can't imagine how excellent the experience would be in the summer time. Rear porch is right on the lake with a BBQ and lounge area. Nice fire pit, good kitchen with necessary utensils. Would absolutely use this cottage again in the future.
This place was perfect for us. We had to cancel a camping trip, and decided to try and find a cottage on very short notice. This property was the exact cottage feel we were hoping for, in a quiet, beautiful setting, and right on the lake. The house itself was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The kitchen is well-stocked, and we cooked great meals both inside and outside. The yard was beautiful, with trees, lake view, and lots of seating options. For extra supplies, it was just a 10 minute drive to a supermarket, LCBO, and places to buy firewood. Thanks, and we would definitely be happy to stay here again.
Richard was very responsive and provided clear instructions. The property was clean and hassle-free. All amenities are present and the view is more beautiful in-person. We asked to check in 30 mins early the morning of and he kindly accommodated. There was some unplanned hydro work that cut power for 3 hours, which we were informed of when the owner found out as well. Despite this, an overall excellent experience, thank you!
The house was very clean and neat. It came with plenty of towels and amenities. Beds were comfy and was plenty of space to perform games and activities. Only major complaint was the heat. It wasn’t mentioned in the description of the place, but the heat inside the cottage was almost suffocating. It is highly recommended to bring your own fans if you plan on staying in the summer. Another minor thing we noticed was the depth of the water, we were looking forward to jumping off the dock however, we couldn’t since it was too shallow (probably 3ft at the end of the dock). Overall a great house beautiful water perfect for swimming and well kept canoe and kayaks.

Hi Carter. Thanks for the review and thanks again for staying. As mentioned unfortunately you stayed during a heatwave. The cottage does not have a/c. It will get as hot as any other home that doesn't have a/c during a heatwave. That being said we are having a/c installed as of October 7th this year (2025) along with new windows throughout the cottage.
As for the water level, this fluctuates in every lake by season and year to year. We've had a very dry summer so the water level is extremely lower than normal. We usually average 6ft at the end of the dock but even that fluctuates throughout the year. This is natural for every lake.
Thanks again for the review and we're happy you enjoyed your stay.
When we arrived at the cottage, it was really quiet and immersive. The air was a mixture of freshness and lakeside moisture. The view was immaculate due to the beautiful sunset across the lakeshore. There were couches outside to rest and relax while enjoying the view too!Inside the house, everything was tidy well and clean. The couch was soft and really comfy. The kitchen was neat and well-stocked with an abundance of pans, pots, utensils, and tools —you name it. Going up the floor, you get to have a nice bunkbed right beside the window for some cozy afternoon nap. Alongside, two other master bedrooms have arguably one of the best mattresses that my friends and have slept on before. The activities you can do here are amazing! With the outdoors, you can light a campfire, go fishing or boating alongside the cozy atmosphere, fresh air, and amazing views! The indoor one includes various board games, table tennis, and you can hook up a console or just watch TV shows and movie together! What a spectacular experience!
