Welcome to our Airbnb! Our property is named after New Zealand’s unique Kokako bird, renowned for its clear, melodious song and often called the "soul of the forest." In Māori culture, the Kokako symbolizes wisdom, hope, and harmony with nature. Its inspiring story of revival reminds us to cherish and protect this beautiful land. By naming our space after the Kokako, we hope to offer you a unique sense of natural beauty and tranquility, making your stay as soothing and special as listening to the enchanting songs of the forest.

The accommodation features one cozy queen-sized beds and one double bed comfortably fitting up to four guests.

Guests have access to one full-size bathroom, perfect for a refreshing shower.

Our kitchenette is well equipped including a toaster, kettle, portable stove & oven, cookware and microwave. We've also provided cutlery and dinnerware for your convenience.

The open-plan living space features a dining table for meals, a TV for entertainment, and a cozy sofa for relaxation.

For your laundry needs, we offer a washing machine along with laundry powder, in the shared laundry room. Enjoy the comforts of home while exploring the beauty of Whangarei!

Your booking provides exclusive access to the entire two-bedroom property. However, please note that the laundry room, porch, and deck are shared spaces and may be used by other guests during your stay.
