The cottage is spacious, stylish, and freshly renovated—designed for comfort in every season. With two inviting living areas, there’s room for everyone to relax, whether you're watching a movie on the 75" smart TV or curling up with a book by the combustion fire. The home features four bedrooms: three with plush queen beds and a fun bunk room with two singles, perfect for kids or extra guests. Reverse cycle air conditioning keeps things cosy year-round. Gather around the massive dining table for shared meals, games, or long chats by the fire—it’s a space that brings people together.

The grounds are park-like and peaceful, dotted with massive, shady trees and a charming old windmill that adds to the rustic charm. Wander the open space, kick a ball around with the kids, or simply relax with a glass of wine under the trees. With multiple outdoor dining areas—including a rustic alfresco kitchen and firepit setting—there’s always a perfect spot to soak up the scenery, share a meal, or watch the sunset.

Located in the heart of Orange wine country, the cottage is just minutes from some of the region’s most celebrated cellar doors - you can even walk next door and do a tasting or tour at Cargo Rd Wines. Spend your days tasting cool-climate wines at nearby favourites like Rikard, Printhie, Stockman's Ridge, Strawhouse, Byrne Farm, and Rowlee Wines. Whether you're a seasoned wine lover or just here for the views and good vibes, you'll find each winery offers something unique—many with stunning vistas, gourmet platters, and family-friendly spaces.

With secure bike storage at Meadowbrook, washdown facilities, and workshop to tune your ride, the cottage is built with MTB riders in mind.

About the host

Host profile image
My wife, Stacey, and I own Meadowbrook Lodge, where we love spending time in the great outdoors. I’m also a high school teacher and Airbnb host, passionate about surfing, mountain biking, and snowboarding, with a growing interest in great wine.

Why they chose this property

Stacey grew up in Orange and when the opportunity to own Meadowbrook presented itself we had to jump on it. The property has always been very special to us as it was the family home for more than 25 years. We love the wineries, our kids love the Mountain Bike Riding and we all enjoy the abundance of nature.

What makes this property unique

Space to roam, nature to explore and location location location. All the best wineries and attractions that people want to visit are not in town, they are all around us! Plus the property is beautiful. Stacey's mother created a park like setting that just feels amazing to spend time in. It is lush with huge trees, heaps of bird life and animals, but it also feels very pristine and manicured.
