Charming peaceful home decorated in such a pleasant way that instantly made you feel right at home. Plenty of extra touches like a coffee bar area, extra kitchen and laundry supplies on hand and even a basket full of toiletries and other items you may need during your stay. Will definitely be back for another visit.

We had an amazing stay! We enjoyed the lake access and the kayaks and cooking in the well stocked kitchen. The screened in back porch was also lovely for eating breakfast and sitting in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again!

family weekend

perfect place to stay in close proximity to our families lake house. We were just a short 5 minute drive from their house so was nice to be able to be there, but also come back to the cottage to have some time to ourselves.

Even though the weather wasn’t great during our stay, the home was perfect! Tied our 20’ boat up to the dock, great water access to fish, and the screened porch allowed us to still be outside regardless of the heavy thunderstorms during our stay. Will definitely be bringing the whole family down mext time to enjoy this property!

It's a nice place to stay if you need some peace and quiet. Kitchen set up was okay, it has room for improvement. The kitchen was small for a home that can potentially sleep 8. It worked for our family of 5.The host was really responsive to a couple of issues, and we appreciated that. The location is nice, pretty removed from everything. We lived in the screen porch when we weren't paddling around the river. Overall, we had a great stay. There were a few things that I shared with the host that would have made the stay better. He was really receptive to my comments and seems eager to make this spot a really special place.

Quick getaway

We stayed during memorial day weekend. It was a last minute decision to get away and we were glad we did. The house was a great fit for our little family. We tried out the kayaks, rented a boat for a day, and played baseball in the front yard. The bunkbeds were a hit with the kids. We cooked each night and found the kitchen to be very nice. The beds slept well. We wish we had more time to enjoy the lovely screened in porch.

The property is nice, but located at the end of the lake so the water is very marshy. No view from the house due to trees but they have a sitting area on the pier, about 20ft from the house. Bring your own condiments and seasonings.
