The house was very clean and had a nice flow. We really enjoyed our stay. The communication was clear and courteous. This was a great stay for our family and we would definitely keep it on the short list for future stays.

The house was even nicer than the pictures show. The driveway can be a bit tricky, but no big deal. It is roomy and has plenty of sleeping space for all six of my party. Nice place with an updated kitchen.

Really nice place, it's nicely decorated and apportioned. If you look out the back windows you'll very likely see several deer who like to spend their day in the back. If you go out there in the lower part of the back yard bring some DEET and make sure your dog (if you have one) is well protected because there are TONS of ticks in the lower part of the back yard. Not a complaint or anything just a statement is all. We had a good time here.

Everything was great about the property. Very clean, very comfortable, would highly recommend, provided you do not like big family dinners. When visiting our daughter we were looking forward to giving her and her friends a home cooked meal, thus, My only frustration was that while we were visiting our daughter and we felt that we could not enjoy a dinner with her and friends. after the first night when. We awoke we had message that we could not have parties. When I felt I had explained it was Not a "party" just our daughter and some of her friends for an enjoyable home cooked dinner (who pretty much just sat around studying and getting ready for school the next week, and no one spent the night), we were still told that it was unacceptable and if there were more than 6 people, period, end of story. That was a little stressful for us as the whole point of us coming was visiting our daughter and giving her a taste of home

My husband and I are from Ontario Canada. We love the people of West Virginia, they are some of the nicest people. There are lots of trails to enjoy hiking like the Joplin Park Loop, and New River Gorge Bridge is a sight to see, about 1-hour from the house in South Charleston WV.

Why they chose this property

Renovated in 2023, from bare bones to a blend of modern comfort with classic charm. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with friendly neighbors. South Charleston offers great restaurants, shops, and attractions, and only minutes to downtown Charleston.

What makes this property unique

The house has yellow stucco on the outside, so the Yellow-Stone is what we call it. There is a private driveway for your convenience and extra parking on the street if needed. The property backs onto a ravine which attracts a lot of wildlife.
