Perfect Location in the heart of Cape Charles

Everyone that comes to Cape Charles falls in love with the charm and beauty of this small town. Peach Retreat is nestled right in the heart of town, just a block from the shops and restaurants. Once you arrive you will be able to walk, bike or golf cart everywhere in town! Our home is a family friendly home with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is one bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, and three bedrooms upstairs. Downstairs you will find a California king size bed. Upstairs the bedrooms have a queen size bed, a king size bed, and one bedroom with a queen over queen bunk and a twin trundle bed. The bunk room and the king room have TV's and are very spacious. Downstairs the living room has a 65 inch smart TV, a large sectional sofa and two large club chairs for relaxing. The sofa also has a queen size sofa bed. The kitchen is well stocked for any meal you would like to cook in the home and has a dishwasher. In the dining room you will find a large table that comfortably seats ten, and a small kids table for two. The best part of the home is the large wrap around porch that has 4 rocking chairs and a porch swing, with a small kids picnic table around the side. In the backyard is the most beautiful courtyard, with a table for four, and a lounge area with a love seat and two chairs. The patio bistro lights are wired to a switch and give off the best ambiance for evening cocktails. We want to be sure you have everything that you need while you are visiting Peach Retreat so we have a shed in the back with two beach cruiser bikes, corn hole boards, 7 beach chairs, 2 kids beach chairs, 2 adult kayaks, one kid pull-behind kayak, life jackets, beach umbrellas, a cooler, a wagon and sand toys. Attached to the shed is a dart board.

We take great pride in the home and the cleanliness of the home. Be assured that if you rent Peach Retreat you will have a clean, comfortable home. We love our guests and we love sharing our home with friends and visitors. We are available for any questions!

We have a golf cart that is available to rent for $65/day or $325 a week with your stay. Please note that this is an additional payment and you must sign an additional agreement if you wish to rent the golf cart. The golf cart can only be rented for the length of your stay and not shorter or longer periods of time. A golf cart is the BEST way to get around town! We highly recommend adding this to your stay!

Great vacation place!

Peach Retreat was wonderful- definitely suggest you rent the golf cart- makes it so much fun to get around and great for going back and forth to the beach. Owners were great to work with.

Amazing stay

Perfect location

Great location, cute house with all of the things we needed for a great stay. One of the highlights was its location. Right in a heart of what’s happening. Short walk to the beach and extremely close to restaurants and bars. The host is very responsive to your needs.

Location, location, location. We had a tremendous time at The Peach Retreat and found all of the amenities to exceed our expectations. The living spaces were very comfortable and the front porch and rear patio combo gave our group ample opportunity to spread out and enjoy. Communication was a breeze and incredibly timely for the couple of questions that we had. The golf cart option was definitely a hit with the youngest members of our party frequently asking for rides to different locations. Would change a thing and would consider ourselves lucky to have The Peach Retreat as an option for our next trip to Cape Charles.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay at the Peach Retreat in Cape Charles! Great location, steps away from the action but also super quiet. We really enjoyed the fenced in courtyard area, we felt like we were in our own private bistro (passerby’s wanted to stop in for drinks haha). The golf cart is a must have. We had a couple of minor issues that were handled promptly by the owner. Thanks again for a great stay!

Fabulous Stay at Peach Retreat

We loved staying at Peach Retreat! It was just as pictured and provided plenty of room for our big family. The back patio was our favorite part. It’s beautifully landscaped and nicely shaded. Was great to sit outside and relax while our littlest napped. Great location. The couch wasn’t the most comfortable but that’s nit picking! Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

Charming, comfortable and perfect location

From the first point of contact - our host, Amanda, could not have been more helpful. The home is charming and a pleasure to spend time in. The backyard was perfect for my grandson, he especially enjoyed the many toys in the well-equipped shed. Our stay was simply too short - we look forward to returning next year. When we know the dates, my fingers are crossed this location is available!

Great Location

The location is perfect! Close to everything! The host was quick to respond to every question. The house was suited for us, good number of beds and different sizes. It could do with a deep cleaning throughout and a freshening up. We had 4 adults and a 4 and 2 year old and a 2 month old. We will be back to Cape Charles.

Our 3rd year at the Peach Retreat!

Can’t say enough about this house! It’s our 3rd year here. We love it and Amanda is always so helpful. So close to shops and beach. Large enough for our family of 4 plus a couple relatives and so cute inside. The beach is family friendly. And there’s something for everyone at the shops. We’ll be back next year as planned!

Perfect location

The house has great bedroom and outdoor space and the location couldn’t be better. It’s a quick ride to the beach and walking distance to ice cream, restaurants, convenience stores, and shops. The owners are very responsive. There was an issue with the upstairs AC the first day and they had it taken care of in less than 24 hours. We will definitely book this house again next year!

What a Treat

We come every summer and try out a new house. The Peach Retreat was one of our favorites. House has been refreshed and it feels comfortable and clean. Has upgrades where you want them and retains the feeling of home too. The shed full of toys & beach gear was clutch - as was the golf cart. Would recommend this place to anyone. The owners have clearly put a lot of love into the place and you can feel it.

Perfect spot!

We rented this lovely house for my daughter’s wedding week. Amanda the owner was accessible and quick with response to any inquiries. The property is located close to the main business street in this picturesque community allowing easy access to shops and restaurants.The beds were comfortable and linens and bath towels provided. The living room and dining room areas were spacious and set up to accommodate many guests. Our favorite spaces were the front porch and the back patio area letting us soak up the sun and enjoy the breeze . Would definitely recommend for families and friends who long to relax and bond.

Fully stocked with beach gear

We loved our stay at the Peach Retreat! This was our third year visiting Cape Charles and we loved this location and property the best. The outdoor shed is fully stocked with bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, and more. We road the bikes through the nearby park, took out the kayaks at sunset, cruised around town in the golf cart, had morning coffee on the front porch, and relaxed with drinks while watching sports on the outdoor tv. Even being as close to the main strip as we were it was still very quiet at night with all the convenience of the shops and restaurants right there. We comfortably two small families into the house. Highly recommend!

A really nice house

Peach Retreat is great. Pros: Very clean, spacious & well equipped house, probably the most well equipped we’ve seen, including kayaks, bicycles, strollers, etc. The owners have thought of pretty much everything. Very close to Mason St retail, walking distance to almost everything. Great location four blocks from the beach. For the proximity to Mason, it was quiet even on weekends. Really nice patio behind the house. Rent the optional golf cart- we hardly needed our car for the week. For the few times we needed assistance, owner Amanda was really helpful & easy to interact with. A few minor Cons: Very close to Mason St retail, so Peach St can get fully parked on weekends. Refrigerator trucks idle on Peach St behind the house for long times while they service the nearby restaurants.

Another FABULOUS stay!

We came to Cape Charles (our favorite getaway) for a friend’s birthday celebration. One of the reasons we love staying at Peach Retreat is the main level bedroom with a King bed. We often bring our 80 year old mom with us, who is very cautious about falling and is an early riser. Many CC cottages in town have very steep and narrow staircases and while the stairs at Peach Retreat are not as steep and narrow as some, the challenge is totally eliminated with that nice large main floor bedroom! Grandma can rise early with her coffee too. Another bonus is the really large dining room with nice long table. A January visit meant no use of the outdoor eating space, so it’s great to be able to have everyone around the dining room. The Peach Retreat is really turn-key, with all your beach supplies ready in the shed, and a well stocked spice/condiment cabinet (in case you’re like me and forget to pack all those little things and hate buying duplicates). Five stars, book it now. You’ll have no regrets!

Front porch swinging..

Beautiful home, amazing hosts and the perfect weather made our annual family vacation to CC absolutely amazing this year! We appreciated that Peach Retreat had so many beach amenities. It made for less packing since we didn't have to bring beach chairs/wagon/umbrellas/toys/etc. My parents joined us this year and like most people, have fallen in love with this little town. All of us thoroughly enjoyed spending time roaming around town on the golf cart and people watching on the incredible front porch (probably our favorite part of the house). There were a few concerns that we had throughout the week that we addressed with the owners and they were super fast to resolve them immediately. The only thing I suggest (as with almost with all vacation homes) is a dedicated space for the renters to store their food brought from home. We ended up keeping all of the food we brought from home in the box we packed it in in the kitchen floor all week, which made it kind of tight at times.

Relaxing

We have stayed in 5 other properties in Cape Charles. This by far was one of the nicest ones! The home was fully equipped with everything we could have possibly needed! All the fun stuff in the shed was such a bonus!! With the littles, there is just not enough room for us to haul bikes and kayaks so those were greatly appreciated!! And the golf cart made running back and forth from the beach sooooo much easier!! They are 7months and a 3year old!! I would highly recommend Peach Retreat!! The owners were great to work with and quick to return any messages. The back yard area has been well kept! We greatly appreciated the outdoor cushions being kept in the shed. Every other place we have stayed, had these beautiful outdoor seating areas, but then we could never really use them cause they were full of dirt, debris, and yes, bird poop!!! Peach Retreat was definitely a retreat!!!

Perfect!

When ever you are trying to rent a property you always hold your breath. This property far exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect and the property owners have truly thought of everything to make your stay perfect. We will be visiting Cape Charles again and this will be the house we rent from now on.

Great Property

This house was perfect for us. Upstairs bedrooms for my daughter, her husband and 3 young children, and master bedroom on first floor (no steps) was great for my wife and me. Very comfortable home with a great patio area in the back. Owners made our stay very pleasant and responded right away to any questions we had! Perfect location as there are restaurants literally next door and numerous other restaurants and shops within a short walk. Highly recommend this property if you plan on visiting in the Cape Charles area.

Excellent location!

My family and I were here for wedding. The house was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated and exactly what we needed. The location was ideal, close to town and a few restaurants right next door! We rented golf cart which was fun to ride around town and see some sights. Highly recommend staying here!

Peach Retreat was perfect!

We loved Peach Retreat! The house was perfect for our extended family’s vacation – coffee in the morning on the amazing front porch and beer and wine in the evening on the back patio. Everyone loved riding around Cape Charles in the golf cart. The walk to the beach was short but, of course, we had to stop in all the wonderful shops along the way. Peach Retreat is so close to all the restaurants, shops, the park and the beach. Our family will definitely be back next year.
