Cousins Road trip through Ohio

We had a good experience at this lovely home in University Heights. The house was everything we expected and the neighborhood was beautiful. Jennifer was available to answer any questions or concerns we had and gave us suggestions for some good places to eat. I would rent here again. The beds were comfortable and all linens were supplied. Great location for visiting Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and other places in Cleveland.

Jen is a fabulous host—clearly a pet lover—and the property is lovely, spacious, and in a wonderful neighborhood.

This is an older home in a nice residential neighborhood. Jennifer, our host contact, was very nice and extremely helpful. Her responses were very timely and useful. One day we had a heating issue because of an abrupt (cold) weather change, but Jennifer very quickly helped us address the issue satisfactorily.

Very disappointed in cleanliness & outside ground maintenance. Trip hazards on back deck. House in beautiful neighborhood. Pictures on listing did not represent actual home. Will not stay there again.

Spacious stay

Great location, big spacious house. Loved the fenced in back yard for the dogs. Was a little warm but it was an unusually hot/ humid weekend that we stayed - plenty of fans, some window units in the house which certainly helped. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Would stay again.

Spacious in great location

We had a good stay here. Very spacious inside. Great fenced in yard for dogs. Great location that felt safe and secure. Easy street parking if needed. Was a little warm but we stayed during an unusually hot/ humid weekend so that is expected - there were window ac units in some areas and fans that helped. Host was friendly and easy to contact if needed. Would stay again.

What a wonderful location, and a great value! This is a charming old house in a very quiet neighborhood. Driving around nearby, we saw deer everywhere. We loved getting pastries at Luna, not far away.We stayed during during some of the hottest days of the year, so I was worried about the window AC units keeping up. But there were units in each floor, and they kept the space comfortable.Like any of these historic homes, it had its quirks. I look forward to watching this as an option for future trips.

Not great. The management informed us just minutes before we arrived that there was now only 1 working shower in the house for 4 adults. The house itself needs a serious head to toe cleaning! The closets and bathrooms were all crammed with “stuff”. As the first to shower on Sunday morning, at 5’2”, the shower head was too high for me to reach. It shot water high up against the back shower wall, about 8” above my head! The curtains in all bedrooms and baths offer no privacy! I could go on and on. We will NOT be back! Owners definitely need more experience with providing clean, secure and comfortable surroundings.

So much potential

The house is in a great location and wonderful neighborhood. But it needs a lot of work and upkeep. It’s in need of professionally cleaning. The owners laundry, personal items were still not put away. We had to clean the bathroom. Towels and curtains were very worn. Beds were comfortable.

We’re glad you enjoyed the home’s location, neighborhood, and comfortable beds. We’re sorry the cleanliness and condition of some items did not meet expectations. The home is professionally cleaned before each arrival, linens are freshly laundered, toiletries are provided, and the curtains were recently replaced. We appreciate you sharing your experience and will continue working to ensure the home is comfortable and well prepared for future guests.
