No complaints other than a miscommunication about our arrival time so the cleaning crew was rushed and I had to do some touching up. Also tv and Xbox were not easy to use, we had to use our own codes. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much.
Beautiful home and property. Clean, spacious, well stocked,, and even has a/c
The house is spacious, with plenty of room for 9 people, ages 5-79. Stocked with a full array of amenities, and has a/c. We rented from VRBO often, and this was one of the nicest homes we've stayed in.
We only wish we had stayed another day, to enjoy the fire pit and outdoor areas. We'll stay here again.
It was beyond peaceful and two days isn’t enough to explore the wonders of the gorgeous house. Thank you for giving my family great memories to take home! ;)
The Duron Family
My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cabin, and it was an unforgettable experience. We stayed in this area initially for its proximity to the National Parks nearby and from the first evening, we were captivated by the rustic beauty of the surroundings. The cabin itself was very clean and tastefully decorated, striking the perfect balance between cozy and modern.
One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning view from the cabin's windows and the peacefulness of the location. The cabin's amenities were top-notch, with a fully equipped and organized kitchen and comfortable beds that ensured a restful night after a big day of hiking in the parks.
This is a beautiful home with many fun amenities including a hot tub, poker table, foosball table, outdoor barbecue, bocce court, fire pit. Nina was very helpful and we felt like could contact her with any questions or concerns. The sunsets are gorgeous!

Excellent House For Your Family Vacation
We stayed at "Ponderosa Pines Cabin" for our July 2022 family vacation. We had 11 family members in our group. Everyone was amazed by the house and the amount of space we had. The 4 bedrooms were enough to accommodate all 3 families.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking/dining. There is a working gas grill on the back patio deck with a table for outdoor dining. The house is located on the mountain side above Oakhurst. We watched the sunset from the patio deck every night we were there.
There is plenty of parking in front of the house and a security gate to enter the property. In addition, if you choose to dine in, Door Dash and the local pizza shops deliver.
The Ponderosa Pines Cabin is 45 miles to Yosemite Valley, 20 miles from Mariposa Grove, 53 miles from the Fresno Int'l Airport, 20 miles from the Chukhansi Casino, 6 miles to Bass Lake, and 4 Miles to Oakhurst.
This pictures shown in the house profile are true to what you will find in person.
Nina was an excellent host. She checked on us the day after arrival, and said to contact her if we needed anything. I texted to have the outside garbage container emptied, and the next day the garbage container was emptied by the waste management company.
Overall, you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. We will rent again
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the welcome snack basket to the location, this is by far the best rental house we stayed at. The house is exactly as described and the view is unbeatable. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, glasses, and tools. Beds are comfortable and the house was extremely clean.

It was clean, kitchen was well stocked for cooking in, and very comfortable to hang out or work if needed. The property manager was very responsive during booking and we were all set during our stay.

Amazing House with a great vibe!
We decided to have a weekend getaway and found this amazing cabin in the woods.
The place is very serene, clean and has an amazing vibe and perfect for large groups.
Nina as a host is very welcoming and accommodated to our needs perfectly.
I highly recommended staying here if you plan to visit Yosemite, Bass Lake or Oakhurst.
This was a FABULOUS house to stay at. The pictures literally do not do it justice. From the moment you pull up to the circular driveway, the welcome basket when you arrive, to the amazing views on the deck...this house will not disappoint. The owner makes sure every item you need is available. The house is absolutely immaculate and everyone's mouth dropped when they walked in. There are so many bedrooms and space in this house which makes it perfect for several people to join you. We enjoyed our nights by hanging out on the back deck watching the views and barbecuing. We also took a day trip to Bass lake which is only about five minutes away. We will definitely be back!!
We booked this place for father's day. We wanted to go to Bass lake. We had 3 families with us and this place was incredible. It sat beautifully in the mountains. It was well equipped with supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was labeled and easy to find. It had multiple beds and bathrooms. And it was just a spectacular place for the kids to play outside. Loved it and I definitely would recommend staying here.
We loved staying here! We had a family vacation planned with activities at Yosemite and Bass Lake, and this house was the perfect location to easily reach both spots. We loved relaxing at the house after busy days out in nature, and we especially enjoyed all the kitchen accommodations of the house--we had a great time cooking meals together here. We were also pleasantly surprised by all the amenities and supplies that were above and beyond other houses we have stayed at--toiletries, paper goods, etc. 10/10 we will be back!
The property was great for a quick weekend getaway. Rooms were very spacious and the view was amazing. Had a wonderful stay.

Relaxing in Splendor!
Our family used this beautiful cabin for a long weekend, and it had our hearts from the moment we stepped through the front door and beheld the glory of the sun setting over the mountains! We had a group of 6 adults and 4 children, and the house could have easily accommodated more. The kitchen, with the large island, made cooking together fun and easy. We found the labels on the drawers and cabinets so helpful for finding all the tools and utensils we needed, and knowing where to put them! The set up is very orderly, and the owners have a fantastic cleaning crew. The whole place was antiseptically clean! The huge deck and outside kitchen called us to barbeque. The view from the deck is gorgeous---both during the day, and at night, where the twinkling lights of Oakhurst can be seen in the distance. The kids spent their time playing outside on the swing and exploring the spacious grounds. We used the dining room for eating, and playing board games. The hot tub was a huge hit and felt wonderful after a long hike. Nina was great about communicating with us and was available to answer a question. We enjoyed our autumn getaway and have already recommended this place to a friend who saw the pictures on facebook. If you are considering this place, you will not be disappointed! If you rent it, please take good care of it, we want to come back!

Amazing Yosemite Rental
This cabin exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed it immensely. The first thing we did was go to the back porch to admire the view of the mountains. No neighbors could be seen and we felt utterly at peace. The house itself felt luxurious, with comfortable furniture and beautiful stone and wood everywhere. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and more, and the indoor and outdoor dining areas were perfect for our large group. The host left plenty of things to make our lives easier like spices and laundry soap and plenty of towels and face wipes. The sleeping arrangements worked very well and everyone enjoyed good sleep. The AC worked very well on a hot weekend and the WiFi was great. The trip to Yosemite’s southern gate took about 30 minutes. The hot tub felt great after a long day of hiking. I recommend this cabin highly and would love to have an opportunity to go back!
