The listing is what it says it is and it has a glorious view of the ocean. It is spacious for three to four people and can definitely squeeze more if needed. The property is nice, pool clean, staff are friendly. Beach out front is ok to snorkel and a short walk if you want to swim. The unit itself is dated but good enough. The view is nice but it’s almost too high up and felt like a cruise. Had to look sharply down to see beach (still amazing but I think I’d prefer the 6th floor or somewhere around there). Tons of binoculars so if you are here for whale watching season it’s probably the best unit for that. Bed frame is too big for the bed so watch out that you don’t stub your toe. Minor issue though. TV stopped working the second day but honestly it’s Hawaii so we didn’t need it. All in all it’s a great place to stay. It’s not high end and it’s a little homely and you need to make sure to bring salt and pepper and anything you might need to cook (spices and condiment wise…. they have enough plates for sure), but for the price you can’t really beat it. If they updated the decor and furniture they would charge a ton more. The 450 cleaning fee is ridiculous since it’s not even perfectly clean and small but I guess that’s just another way to squeeze a few bucks out and it seems everywhere charges these super high cleaning fees for no real reason. I can get my entire house cleaned for way less than that.
