If you’re planning a visit to Cornwall, Captain Jack’s Coastal Retreat is the perfect base for your stay. Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, or with family and friends, the property comfortably accommodates anywhere from 1 to 8 guests.

Set in a quaint and peaceful historic market town, the location offers easy access to some of Cornwall’s most popular destinations, including Newquay, Padstow, and Port Isaac—famous as the filming location for Doc Martin and home to the Fisherman’s Friends choir.

The accommodation has been fully refurbished and modernised, arranged over two floors and featuring two roof terraces with panoramic views across the town and surrounding Cornish countryside. Enjoy spectacular sunsets with a glass of your favourite drink or make the most of the outdoor gas BBQ.

Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle, toaster, and microwave. The kitchen diner provides a great space for shared meals, while the separate lounge offers a cosy setting with a wood burner and HD Smart TV.

Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas only. Please note there are external steps leading up to the property.

This house was spotless and had fantastic amenities - all you could need for a home away from home. Great location to venture further afield in Cornwall or explore the local area. We would recommend a stay here and will definitely book again if we are in the area.

Everything you need is right on your doorstep, including local pubs, a Co-op, butcher’s, and a great selection of takeaways such as fish and chips, Chinese, kebabs, and traditional Cornish pasties. You’ll also find a coffee shop, antique and hardware stores, dog groomers, a pharmacy, a tattoo parlour, and more—all within easy reach.
