Weekend away

Beautiful and modern house…we enjoyed our stay, but the only issue is the hot tub is not clean, loads of dirt noticed in the water, which is disappointing because we don’t want to use the hot tub again.

Hi Arlyn, Glad you loved the house. Regarding the hot tub, for every single booking we drain it and put fresh water in it. We don’t just treat with chemicals and reuse water which is way beyond the industry standard. That said, even doing this, it can be hard to remove all the sand (this is why we ask people to shower first!). We do leave a suction vacuum on site if any debris gets in whilst you’re using it. If you had any concerns about the cleanliness of the hot tub our team would have come out and sorted it for you! Nevertheless, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and hopefully we will see you again soon.

This was a beautiful property. It's displayed as shown in the pictures. I'd highly recommend for larger groups. Plenty of sleeping spaces and comfortable too. The jacuzzi and sauna are great for relaxing and are a nice feature. Parking for a large group is difficult though due to only one car being able to fit in the driveway and some parking restrictions on roads nearby. There is free parking on a few side roads but hard to come by. The property is on a hill too so can be quite tricky walking back. The property itself is amazing, clean and modern.

Great stay in Newquay

Had a really good time staying at George24 in Newquay. It was a shame there was a mixup on arrival with the code sent on email to unlock the key box being incorrect, meaning we ended up having to stand in the rain while trying to call the host to get the right code. Still, these things happen and once we were in, it was a great place for us all to stay. The hot-tub was excellent, as were all the bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. Really appreciated the basket of goodies left for us as well. Thanks to Issy for being on hand to answer questions beforehand and for getting us the right code in the end. If you're looking for a great house just a stone-throw from the famous waves of Newquay, you can't really go wrong here.

This was a great place to stay in Newquay! It is within walking distance of the town center and the beach. There is a grocery store just down the street and plenty of bars and restaurants. If you are less able walking up and down the hills might be a little bit of a challenge. There is parking for a car in the paved area in front of the house and paid parking just down the street. We did manage to find street parking for a few days.The home itself is a 3 storey terraced house that is well appointed and obviously renovated as few years back. It is showing some signs of wear and tear but nothing that is not serviceable.The views of Newquay Bay from several of the bedrooms was stunning. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms for families or friends to share. We all agreed that the mattresses might do with replacing in the not too distant future. You have everything you need to cook at home, including a dishwasher for the pesky clean up! There is also a washing machine and dryer making it easy to travel light. We enjoyed the hot tub outside several evenings after long walks around the area.All in all we had a wonderful stay with our family of 9 and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we are back in the area. Thanks for sharing Izzy!

Family Christmas Stay

Fun times in Newquay

A great property if there are a large group of you, kids included. The owners have really worked hard on making this a really comfortable place to stay. The downstairs cinema room kept the kids occupied for hours in the evening with the PS4 and endless supply of DVDs. The bedrooms with the bunks, featured some of the most spacious bunks ever. The adults in the group found plenty of room in the cold drink chiller. Overall, it was a perfect base for us to explore West Cornwall.

Family vacation

Property is excellent. Our family of 11 thoroughly enjoyed the home. The younger members were very happy with the media room. Owner and assistant were responsive when contacted. FYI - we were visiting Cornwall from Washington DC.
