About this property
Tranquil Waterfront Living on Hindmarsh Island
Wake up to calm waters and peaceful views at Serenity 24, a spacious four-bedroom retreat in the Marina lagoons of Hindmarsh Island. With two living areas, a generous kitchen and dining space, and direct waterfront access, this is the perfect escape for families or groups looking to relax, reconnect, and explore the best of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Set in one of Hindmarsh Island’s most tranquil pockets, Serenity 24 is a beautifully appointed holiday home that blends comfort, space, and spectacular waterfront views. Step inside to find a thoughtfully designed layout with two separate living areas – perfect for giving everyone their own space to unwind. The light-filled open-plan kitchen and dining area offer ample room to gather for meals and conversation, all while enjoying views across the calm waters of the lagoon.
Whether you're sipping your morning coffee on the deck, enjoying a BBQ in the undercover verandah, or sipping a glass of wine on the half-circle outdoor lounge, the water is always just a glance away.
The master suite is a peaceful sanctuary with a king-size bed, its own TV, and a neat ensuite, while the additional two queen bedrooms and a third bedroom with two single bunk beds— provide flexibility for up to 10 guests. The main bathroom includes a shower, a deep bath and a separate toilet.
The laundry through the backyard includes a washing machine, and driveway parking is available for at least four vehicles or a boat. With spacious indoor-outdoor living zones and reverse-cycle cooling, Serenity 24 is designed for making memories in every season.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire home to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!
Enjoy a casual lunch by the water at the Coorong Café, known for its local seafood and laid-back vibe, or head to the Islander Tavern just minutes away for a hearty pub meal with panoramic river views. In nearby Goolwa, try Hector’s on the Wharf for waterfront dining, Motherduck for delicious brunches, or the ever-popular Kuti Shack at Goolwa Beach for fresh, Indigenous-inspired seafood dishes.
With the Coorong, Goolwa Beach, and the wineries of Currency Creek and Langhorne Creek all within easy reach, Serenity 24 is perfectly positioned for both adventure and relaxation. Spend your days kayaking or paddleboarding directly from your backyard, exploring the natural beauty of the island, or taking a scenic walk along the boardwalks and reserves nearby. Just across the bridge in Goolwa, you’ll find boat tours, river cruises, the historic Cockle Train, and boutique shopping.
