The home comprises 5 bedrooms, the master bedroom upstairs with TV and en-suite with bath and a second bedroom en-suite downstairs, R/C air conditioned open plan living / dining upstairs with extended wrap around balconies with large 4 burner BBQ, outdoor lounging and dining with TV and DVD, well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, ceramic cook top, electric oven and pantry, 3 bathrooms in total and a separate laundry with washing machine and clothes dryer.



You can launch your boat, enjoy your favourite water sports, spend a day at the beach or sit back, relax and enjoy the panoramic views.  Walking distance to Bombora on the River, Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club, the historic Goolwa Wharf and the South Lakes Golf Course or visit the local cafes and attractions in Goolwa and the surrounding townships.

We booked over Christmas period and overall the property was good. Great views right next to the Goolwa sailing club. On our last evening they had a regatta and we watched while having a BBQ on the verandah. It’s was lovely. Some very disappointing features were not having blinds on the very large upstairs and downstairs sliding doors so at night people can see into the main living areas. Also the gas ran out at 5.15pm on Christmas Eve so we had no hot water and no way to get the bottles filled until after our stay finished. Luckily a BBQ gas bottle could be connected. Leaving the responsibility of checking the gas bottles to the renters is very poor property management. There is no television in the upstairs living area and we had to move the tv in the main bedroom to the living room to watch tv with the kids. The configuration doesn’t work for families.

Family holiday

We liked our stay but the weather was terrible so couldn’t sit outside. The house is in the perfect location. no holiday is perfect like the fridge leaks leaving water on the floor and the down stairs living area has no blinds giving no privacy for my son who slept on the sofa bed but over all we loved it. Thank you

Great views

Overall the property met our expectations. Unfortunately, it is on a bad bend in the road which required close supervision of children wanting to access the park and jetty opposite, and also made reversing off the property a bit of a worry. Also, didn't like the upstairs open space master bedroom/bathroom very much. Apart from that, everything was fine.

Spider infested

Property located on dangerous busy corner with cars flying past, not safe to cross the road for adults or kids. Spider infested in side and out, need pest control immediately. Smart tv down stairs dosnt work. No tv upstairs in main lounge room if you want to relax at night and watch a movie. Down stairs couches uncomfortable and broken. Out side furniture broken. Nice cafe down the road was a positive but thats about it. To finish this review if you dont like spider's crawling on you or falling into your red wine then this prob isnt the house for you.

Happy Overall

Pros: -Good quite location with great views on the outside balcony -Downstairs was great for the kids with the 2 sofas -Upstairs was great for the adults :) -Big dining table as well as the outdoor dining table meant that we could all comfortably sit and have our meals - 5 BRs were plenty (4 downstairs and 1 upstairs) with the 5th bedroom not used at all. Bunks were a hit with the kids squeezing in there. -3 bathrooms (2 ensuite) and 4 toilets were great which was another reason why we booked this place -Fishing across the jetty was fun for the kids. We managed to catch some Red Fin Perch and saw some others catch Carp. Suggest you go early morning 8-10am. - House was well equipped with cleaning products, toilet paper and hand wash in each of the bathrooms - Plenty of towels and all linen provided - Very Short walking distance to Bombora cafe and the playground. Not really Cons but.... - As mentioned, kitchen is a bit tight and small when trying to cook for a large group but we managed and was well equipped (toaster, microwave, kettle, large fridge and dishwasher!!) - Pans weren't usable as they were burnt but we had our own - Barbeque outside didn't look clean and was a bit greasy so we didn't bother using it - Balcony chairs had a lot of bird poop so we didn't use them at all (lots of pigeons on the roof during the day... can't blame them as it is a great view) - Plenty of parking spots however be careful when turning in/leaving the property, as it is situated on a S bend and sometimes cars may not see you. - 2 x Split Systems (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) may be an issue in Summer mainly for the bedrooms however Standing fans are provided for the rooms. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and this house happily accommodated the 3 families whilst being able to entertain a larger group also if needed. Great communication from the Elders Goolwa team also. Would definitely stay here again.

Family weekend away

The property was very suitable for our weekend away with our three adult children and their families. Good proximity to restaurants and coffee shops, the views and access to the water were great. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Tranquil outlook

Great location with lovely water views, that was surprisingly quiet. The house accommodated 2 families comfortably, with plenty of room for us all to relax, enjoy outside entertaining on the 2 large balconies or the inside family rooms and kids television space downstairs.

Perfect house and location for large groups

With 3.5 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms, this is the perfect configuration for a group of 12. All linen provided were clean and fresh including luxurious towels. The views were excellent and the jetty right across was a hit with the kids for fishing. Communication was good. Note that it's BYO coffee at this place but the town and shopping centres are only a very short drive away. We highly recommend this place.

Very comfortable accommodation, nicely appointed furnishings to accommodate large group.

Very welcoming property, plenty of rooms for large group/families with 3 separate bathrooms. Very well appointed furnishings, beds comfy, large dining table to accommodate 12 people. Only let down would be the very small kitchen when trying to cook for a large group (we had 6 adults) not a lot of space; also the 4 downstairs bedrooms don't any hanging space for clothes, recommend owners put in some hanging wardrobes. Great outdoor balcony areas for eating if weather permits, great views of the river... property almost perfect other than a few minor things!

Lovely, spacious house.

The property is well maintained and has 5 bedrooms (3 with queen beds plus 2 rooms that have singles and bunks) that caters well for a group. The 3 bathrooms was also great for a group. The upstairs area has lovely furnishings and fantastic views across the river and Goolwa area. Easy walking distance to the Wharf and markets. The kitchen is little small for a group but well equipped. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others. Very responsive communication. Thank you.

Beautiful house in a perfect location with 180 degree water views!

The house is well equipped and in a stunning & convenient location. Cafe across the road, amazing nature playground for the kids, and only a short walk into town to jump on the Cockle Train and enjoy the distillery and brewery. Would highly recommend this house!

Stunning Position

Overall a wonderful, well-equipped holiday house with stunning views. Sailboats, large and small, jet boats and an abundance of bird life on the river provided us with lots to look at. Ideal for family groups. Management were quick to respond to a few minor issues that arose.

Fantastic spot for families

We loved the location. It was great to have so many bathrooms and it was well equipped for our three families . However downstairs was really cold . I would hesitate to book in summer as there’s only a split system upstairs .
