Outside landscaping, bushes, shrubs, and plantings could all use some clean up, pruning, and general attention. Inside of house was fine, the outside yard was a disappointment. Where were the chickens?

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The little details were so impressive, such as the quality of hand soap chosen, his and her bathrobes in the master, the 5-star hotel design of the towels, the welcome snack basket, and branded water in the refrigerator. The yard was manicured, and we LOVED sitting on the front porch and back porch. The historic charm of this home and eye for detail were top of the line. Our only complaint, and it was not enough to deduct a star, was the firmness of all the mattresses. The linens on all the beds were luxurious, but the beds fell flat. None of us slept well. The beds need a mattress topper or a better mattress to give guests an overall 5-star experience. Remedy this situation, and you will receive 100% RAVE Reviews. Thank you for our stay.
