Vicky was very welcoming and friendly. Great communication throughout our stay. Common areas and bathroom were clean. Private bedroom was spacious with mini fridge and desk.

Host was very courteous and friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Kitchen could be shared if required. Laundry, ironing facilities, off street parking were available. Supermarkets l(Woolworth), McDonalds, KFC, Subway etc. were within a short drive. Sharing toilet and bathroom facilities were a bit dated but clean. No airconditioning to the room.

I initially booked this place on Expedia as a “whole house,” so I was a bit surprised to find out upon check-in that it was actually a shared accommodation with several other guests. This seems to be an Expedia listing issue, not the owner’s fault at all. That said, I ended up having a very comfortable stay at Vicky’s home. She was incredibly warm, supportive, and welcoming. She even helped me figure out the best routes for my business appointments, and when I became unwell during my stay, she kindly made me a honey-ginger tea to help me feel better. She truly felt like a host mother. I would absolutely recommend Vicky’s place to anyone, and I’d love to stay here again in the future!!

Pros The host was responsive, friendly and helpful. The house had two bathrooms and a toilet inside the house and one in the garage, a good sized kitchen and convient undercover parking. The house was mostly quiet. Bedroom was a good size, lock on door, fresh towels, desk, fridge, and appliances. ConsThe house was advertised as 'entire house' on stayz which was a bit misleading, when I received check in details two days prior to my trip I realised it was a room with shared areas with 4-5 other people. The host kindly offered a full refund. I kept the room as too late to find similar priced accommodation.A downside was the blinds in the bedroom were not able to block out the light from the adjacent living area as they were slighly bent in parts, so when people moved around the house late at night & left lights on it disrupted my ability to sleep. The bathrooms could use a thorough clean. I found it unusual that the host doesn't lock the house, not even at night. No keys were provided to lock the main door either. I was assured the neighbourhood was 'safe'. There was a lock on my bedroom door however I still felt uneasy the first night sleeping there. Overall a decent stay.
