Escape the city & reconnect with nature. Explore hiking trails, lakes, ATV or snowmobile with year round activities to keep you busy. Relax by the firepit and star gaze with all the comforts of home. Even though we call it a cabin it has all the comforts of home. From comfortable memory foam mattresses to a fully equipped kitchen. Need to work, watch a movie don't fret we have great wifi. Sit back, relax and enjoy some time in the beautiful Algonquin area.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Leave used beds unmade and dirty towels in the hamper. Turn off air conditioner / turn heat down to 10degrees in the winter. ALL baseboard heaters to be turned off
Garbage needs to be taken with you. The local dump is at 147 King William street. Friday-Tuesday 8am - 12pm. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY

The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and so comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent, and the amenities were thoughtful and well‑stocked. We especially loved the peace and quiet outdoors — such a relaxing space. A truly beautiful stay all around.

This little cabin is perfect. It’s nice and cozy. And so quiet. Maria is a great host. She replies really quickly to your questions. We had a great time staying here and enjoying the nature.

Everything was excellent, other than the internet being a bit spotty at night if you wanted to stream movies. Thankfully, I had downloaded movies onto my iPad, so it wasn’t a big issue.The cottage was cozy, clean, comfortable, and everything seemed new. It was also close to everything we wanted to do. Maria was a wonderful host and always responded quickly whenever we had questions.Thank you for a great stay—we had a wonderful experience and would definitely love to come back!

As a four season home you can escape at any time and each season has it's own beauty and enjoyable activities. We have enjoyed meeting so many great people and hearing about how they've spent their time up north either thru text messages or leaving us a note in our guest book. We hope to see you soon

Why they chose this property

Kearney is the biggest little town in Ontario. People have warm hearts and welcoming attitude. We are just at the bottom of the Main street. Close enough to enjoy the beach, grab an ice cream cone or a bite to eat. Far enough to hear the frog singing or even have a moose walk up the driveway. Enjoy the quiet and remember to look up at night.
