The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Dylan was helpful and responded to questions quickly. I recommend bringing warm socks or slippers because the concrete floors can be pretty cold. The cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway. We had a great view of the night sky from the hot tub.
We loved this cabin! A good size for our family— two adults two young kids. And Port Renfrew was very cute. After a whirlwind few days sightseeing in Victoria, this was the perfect place to rest and enjoy nature. We walked to the coffee shop every morning, went to the surrounding beaches (!!! Incredible!) during the day, and used the hot tub in the evenings. The host was very quick with communication and their cabin is a dream!
There was no tea, the beds did not have sheets as indicated. The book asked that the garbage and laundry be taken to adesignated area, but no directions/address as to where it was located.

Hi Linda thank you for your feedback.
Apologies for the shortage of tea, this has been brought to the attention of our cleaning staff.
There was a flat sheet as you found however no fitted sheet, this has been brought to attention of cleaning staff for addressing. It should have been there.
The garbage and linen handling instructions are all within the arrival guide so perhaps you missed those, it was not a big deal it was easily taken care of.
Aside from these complications we hope you had a nice stay and look forward to hosting you again.
Thank you kindly
Dylan
We enjoyed a very quiet time. The walking distance to beaches and restaurants was welcome. The cabin was cozy, clean and well appointed. We will come back.
Easy directions and access. Very clean, loved the hot tub and the fire pit! Relaxing decor, comfortable mattress and bedding. Well appointed kitchen, had everything we could have needed. Thanks for the chocolate almonds!
We had a lovely stay with our two dogs. The kitchen was well equipped (although you'll need to bring any spices/herbs/seasonings, etc., aside from salt and pepper, which are provided). I'd recommend bringing in your own food & drink if you intend to cook, especially if you have specific dietary needs, and especially in the fall when the local smoked fish place is closed. The General Store in Port Renfrew is sparse, although there are a couple cute cafés, The Renfrew Pub, and a fish and chips shop within walking or short driving distance, but many of them close pretty early. Same for dog food and treats—they aren't available, but you could replenish in Sooke if necessary. Keep in mind also that there's no pharmacy, doctor, hospital, or vet in town. You'd have to travel to Sooke or Victoria for anything of that sort. The cabin itself was beautiful, and the landscaping is gorgeous and well-maintained. Slippers were provided and very useful because the floor is chilly in fall! It's pitch black at night, which is great for seeing the stars. There's a flashlight for guest use in the bathroom by the sink,We enjoyed having a hot tub to rest our weary muscles after some big hikes. Botany Bay, Botanical Beach, Mystic Beach, Sandcut Beach are highly recommended, but be prepared to hike down. Avatar Grove was incredible, but one trail is closed, and the other trail is in disrepair, so a rough hike. Lonely Doug was a sight to behold. All-in-all, 10/10, would book again!
Dylan was very responsive and the little hiccup at the beginning he quickly solved. It’s a cool little place and I highly recommend going in the off season as it was really quiet. It is well appointed and has everything you need for a short stay. Highly recommend suite number 11. Hot tub was the bomb!

Very comfortable and clean! Beautiful kitchen and bath, and a very comfortable bed. The hosts thought of everything that you might need. The hot tub was spotless and relaxing under the stars.
We picked this place for the full kitchen, hot tub, fire pit, and location. It was spotless and a perfect spot for our weekend getaway! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook with for utensils and was the perfect size for just the two of us!The hot tub was perfect! Make sure you bring sandals as the gravel between door and the hot tub is pretty fine! The host was super responsive and helpful with any questions we asked!
We had a lovely escape to Port Renfrew and absolutely enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage. The jacuzzi was such a treat—so relaxing to sit outside in the rain surrounded by nature. The location is fantastic too, with charming cafés and restaurants just a short walk away. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and cozy, and I especially appreciated that I could bring my dog along. A wonderful getaway spot—I’d definitely return!

Look forward to hosting you again
The whole place was well appointed and my daughter loved living in the loft. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, except for a dish rack. That would have been nice on the nights we decided to cook at home. The hot tub was amazing, especially with the colder weather. The privacy screen and sliding "doors" on the outdoor patio really extended the living space. One drawback was the rain shower head in the bathroom. For those of us who don't wash our hair every time we shower, it made things a bit difficult. Other than that, it was truly lovely.

Hi Regan thanks for your inputs and glad to hear you enjoyed your time at the cottage. We have since bought a dishrack for drying dishes based on your suggestion. Thank you and welcome back anytime!
The property was a little on the small side for 4 adults, but for a night stay, it was really nice, and the hot tub was great too. The property was very clean, and all the amenities worked perfectly. There was a bit of a hiccup in checking in as we did not receive the access code to the residence; however, a quick phone call to the property owner solved the problem . Restaurants, due to the location, were a little scarce, but the ones we went to were really good.
Great place. Cozy yet spacious. The semi outdoor eating area is great. Good hot tob. Felt luxurious for two adults. The view into the yard is nice. What the ad doesnt tell you is that it's just a five min walk to the best cafe in Port Renfrew! Costal Kitchen Cafe is literally just down the road. Amazing sandwiches.I did WCT a few years ago and wish I had a place like this pre-trail. This time I was just doing the beaches in the area and it was a blast. Host was responsive. Could use a way to remotely turn on patio lights over the hot tub.
