Sweet little rustic cabin. Beautiful lot, sandy lakefront where you can walk for 1/2 mile and it's only up to your waist... it was great for the littles! Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful summer getaway.

We rented the cabin for a getaway with friends. The cabin had everything we needed and was perfect for our needs. I would highly recommend booking this cabin.

We loved our time at this rustic cabin on the lake. While modest, it is oh-so-perfect for a quiet getaway. Very close to town.Wonderful views through the many large windows. Kitchen is adequately supplied if you want to cook a few meals. There is no longer a canopy/tent on the deck, but that's not a problem as there is ample shade on the property. We appreciated the large deck, fire pit, and dock.We would love to stay here again!

Great family time

I took my older children and their friend's and we had a wonderful time. We swam all day and sat by the bonfire at night. The cabin was just the right size. The big kitchen table was perfect for family games at night. It was just what we were looking for!

Cabin was nice and clean. Walking distance to the water. Could use a little clean up on the path down and sticks where you park, but overall a nice place to stay.

Cozy Get-away on a beautiful property!

We enjoyed a long weekend with our adult children at this quaint cabin on beautiful West Battle Lake. The cabin had everything we needed. It was clean, there were enough linens and towels for 6 of us. The yard is large and has a nice fire pit. West Battle is very clear.. and we enjoyed fishing off the dock. We would consider staying here again!

Everything I expected from a cabin on a lake in MN

2 things that we would have liked are a toaster and a flyswatter ( I gifted the latter) it was a good fit for us.

Weekend at the lake.

My teenage daughters and I spent a beautiful weekend at the cute and cozy cabin. The highlight was definitely the hours we spent on the sunny dock, on our floaties, and swimming in the crystal clear water of Battle Lake. We were able to rent kayaks for the day from a local company. Jenny was quick and easy to communicate with.

Dock needs to be replaced

The cabin was cute and clean but the dock was not safe for use.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, the shoreline here is rip-rapped and the rocks can be difficult for travelers with mobility issues or very young children. A new ladder will be installed for those who prefer not to step on the rock shoreline and will provide an alternate access to the dock from the water.

Great but suggest a few changes

Lovely cabin, yard, gazebo and water. I would suggest air conditioning unit at least in the bedroom. Bring the fire pit away from the house (fire code?) and closer to the view of the lake. Add some handrails to the small steps going down to the lake. Very steep and not kid friendly. Thanks

Cute Lil Cabin

I want to make this absolutely clear. This is not a cabin for fishermen with boats. 21’ Lund got hung up on the road to the cabin. Pickup barely fit. Water off the dock is 2’ deep and the lift was dead 20 years ago with bare metal. I had talked to the manager about parking boats to plug in and she said it would be fine. It wasnt. Got an ass chewing from one neighbor and the other one graciously let us park by his shop. Said he gets it all the time but “the sportsmen’s fraternity” allowed us to park and become friends. Cabin? Cute and super nice view of Battle Lake. Well equipped but definitely rustic which we like! Jenny our host was super nice and apologized many times over for the boat fiasco. 2 hours with a chain saw and a little updating inside and I would give this a 5 star rating. Weak 4 as is.
