This was simply a beautiful, clean house to stay in !!! We gathered here in-between games to allow the kids to eat and rest and it was so perfect!! The owners are extremely welcoming and easy to work with!!! 100% WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN!!!
The house was perfect for our annual girls trip. It was roomy and well stocked. Easy check in and out. The lake is beautiful with crystal clear water. I would definitely rent again.
The house was huge and clean! It was great for a big group. The big backyard was awesome and had plenty of room for yard games. The hosts were great and very responsive.
This is a great property for multiple people and families. Having access to the lake made it easy to rent a pontoon. We made most of our meals at the property and had plenty to do while we were at the property.
Had a great stay for our group of 12 guys for golf and laughs Everyone got a bed which is hard to find. And two tables to eat in kitchen. Lake was fantastic clear amd wonderful. Fire pit was great as well. Great golf nearby. At thumper pond and Geneva country club.
Cabin was awesome. Weather was not amazing, so nice to have all the fun activities indoors. Kids loved the dock, lake, yard space, and kayaks. Ample room for all 16 of our group.
Will hopefully be back next year!
We had a great time at this house on the lake. It was the perfect set up for our guy's weekend with lots of beds, plenty of room to spread out and a nice big kitchen. We all thought it was even nicer than we expected. Loved the game room and plenty of table space for games and dining. I'm sure we will be back.
Only issue is not having enough time. Homeowners are fantastic to work with. Home is wonderful. Although we were only there for the weekend, easily felt like a home.
Nice family vacation spot with a lot of space in the house. We slept 16 easily. Really large dining area and kitchen and all the comfy seating in living room were A. Private area at the end of a road on the lake. Direct water access. We used the paddle boards and Maui mat and some water floats provided with the house. The supplied life jackets and water items were an added bonus! Owner immediately replied/remedied when we had a hiccup getting into the house with our code. Of note there is golfing, pickle ball courts, tennis, public boat/beach access within a few minutes drive. We had a relaxing and fun time in MN!
We had 15 of us in total stay here for a week. We had an absolute blast! The cabin is perfect for a large group! There were all the amenities a person could need- a lilypad, paddleboards and kayaks for the water, a nice coffee machine, a dishwasher, comfortable beds, ping pong table, arcade machine, foosball, kids picnic table, life jackets, and all the kitchen supplies you could need. Plus, it was just a short drive (5 minutes) to Battle Lake where there is a grocery store, gas station, liquor store, bait shop, ice cream shop, brewery, etc. The cabin is beautiful and very well kept. Definitely 10 out of 10 would recommend for a getaway.

Abby and her group were fantastic guests! Easy to communicate with and respectful of the home.
We had extended family ranging in age from babies to great grandparents and there was enough room for all of us to be together and enough private spaces when we needed to be apart. The hosts did a great job of communicating and trying to make us feel at home and providing us with pertinent property information.
Most of the beds are comfortable, sofa sleeper not so much, but that is to be expected.
At this house we had a great time bonding as a family. We put together a ping pong tournament, the kids had a polar plung challenge in the cold morning lake and we loved the old school pacman games. Great place to get away!
We had an incredible time at this VRBO rental! From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of fantastic. The host was communicative and kind, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay.
The house itself was perfect for our group, with comfortable beds for everyone and all the amenities you could ask for. The kitchen was fully stocked, allowing us to cook up some great meals together. We never had to worry about missing anything.
What really stood out were the endless games and activities available at the house. There was something for everyone, and we were never bored for a moment. Whether we were enjoying a board game, trying out the paddle boards, or kayaking on the nearby water, there was always something fun to do.
If you're looking for a place that offers comfort, convenience, and endless entertainment, this is the spot. We had a blast and can't wait to come back!

Thank you so much! We truly enjoyed hosting you. Can't wait for you to come back.
We, Doug and Suzanne Straus have seven children (with six of the seven grown and gone) and, although we faced the standard parenting challenges, we loved raising them.
We fondly remember family vacations and set out to create a family-friendly venue to allow you the opportunity to experience the same.
Why they chose this property
We purposefully looked for a spacious property where friends and family would enjoy a relaxing time at the lake. It had the number of rooms and bathrooms to accommodate large families or multiple families. It also had a large enough yard for outdoor games and a nightly bonfire.
What makes this property unique
We then purposefully set up the home thinking "what if a husband/wife had young kids they wanted sleeping across the hall" or "what if the house was going to be pretty full and the parents would rather have their kids in their same room" or "what if there were a group of teens that didn't want to sleep outside the house" or "what if there were a bunch of teen boys that loved the idea of 'roughing it' in the bunkhouse by the lake".
Then it seemed fitting, with the ample room available, to provide fun if the weather was inclement so we set up a ping-pong table, a 55" foosball table, and an old Pac-Man arcade game.
We hope this location brings families closer and creates lasting memories.
