What a wonderful peaceful lakefront sanctuary. You can't get any closer to the lake than here. The owner was wonderful and my short visit was everything I could have wanted. I cooked on the Blackstone and ate on the deck. Besides a fishing boat here and there, it felt like I was the only one on the lake most of the time. I will definitely come back to enjoy the serenity and coziness of this place.

Anita was wonderful, the place was cute and comfortable, and the view was incredible! Drinking coffee on the deck in the morning was my favorite, with a close second of sunsets, adult beverages, and grilling on the Blackstone! Highly recommend!

Anita was absolutely amazing! The cottage is serene and so cozy. It is well stocked and everything we needed was conveniently available. The view from the cottage is breath taking and the whole experience left us rejuvenated and restored. Don’t hesitate, book right away! The best place to unwind and reconnect!

Far and away, this has been my favorite experience staying at someone’s property. Anita and Larry, the host, truly felt more like family by the end of the weekend, and there are not enough words to thank them for their kindness, hospitality, and overall amazing southern hospitality. Meeting them was honestly our favorite part of the trip! Along with our wonderful hosts, the property itself is absolutely beautiful and right on the water with a ton of windows and natural light. The hosts have done an amazing job decorating the property and keeping it very well stocked. It was perfectly located and very close to the Oak Island mansion wedding venue that we had an event at. I cannot recommend this property enough and especially our wonderful new friends. Again, our stay was the highlight of our whole trip visiting the south and we cannot wait to come back soon! Thank you for a very special and memorable weekend, Anita and Larry! We love you!
