Welcome to Twin Magnolias!
From the time you arrive, walk up between two beautiful Magnolia trees on a marble walkway mined here in Sylacauga's famous marble quarries. This 1935 home has been fully remodeled in 2021 with modern amenities but maintaining the early 20th century character and charm. All hardwood floors throughout the main portion of the home, spacious remodeled kitchen with granite countertops, plenty of cabinets, breakfast bar and 4-seater table in eating area. The dining room has a 6-seater table. The living room has two sofas, a bay window and TV. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed and two walk-in closets. Both the second and third bedrooms have queen-size beds and spacious closets. Full bath in hallway, fully remodeled with tub/shower, vanity/sink & toilet. The second full bath is fully remodeled and has a spacious subway tile shower, vanity sink and toilet. Mudroom/laundry room with washer and dryer. All doors have original glass knob hardware. The activity room has table tennis for entertainment. When you step outside, enjoy a marble patio with a 6-seater dining table, BBQ grill and fenced in backyard perfect for hosting events. Screened in BBQ shack with built-in brick grill in rear of property and firepit in the backyard. Situated on a 1/2-acre lot and right in the heart of downtown Sylacauga, within walking distance of shopping, dining, medical & recreational facilities.
Just a 10-minute drive to famous Pursell Farms, home of top rated Farmlinks Golf Course, Pursell Farms Orvis Shooting grounds, Hamilton Place event venue and Parker Lodge. Only 15 minutes to Lay Lake, 30 minutes to Lake Martin & 30 minutes to Logan Martin Lake. Desoto Caverns just 20 minutes away. NASCAR race fans are only 30 minutes from Talladega Superspeedway. Just a 40-minute drive to Birmingham and one hour drive to Auburn University.

Great Stay

This property was just as listed! It is a very nice house with plenty of space. The neighborhood is amazingly quiet considering that you are less than a block from a main road. The convenience to everything in town is great. Make sure you visit Blue Bell and Pelicans during your stay. This property is definitely on our list of places to return too.

Quick stay for junior golf tourney

Great house, very clean and comfortable beds and bathrooms. There was plenty of space to relax. Recent renovations are very well done. Was initially worried about location, but really nice, quiet street/neighborhood just off main downtown area. Owners/managers have thought of everything, though we were not there long enough to take full advantage.

The home is beautiful and the owners provided everything that made it feel like home the minute we walked in. Even though it is close to downtown making food choices convenient, it is very quiet. We had lots of needed family time with visiting, back yard barbeques, games of ping pong and enjoying the beautiful magnolia trees in front yard. This will certainly be on our list of a repeated stay when are back in the area!

The house was very nice and clean! Centrally located and close to downtown. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable! The house was equipped with sensor lights, nice but, too sensitive to every movement. The 2 bathrooms were updated and very nice. Still would give it a 9/10 all the way!! Looking forward to future stays at this location! Highly recommended!!

Work trip for Talladega races

House was updated, clean and taken care of. Owners were great with communication, easy to get in touch with and ask questions. The neighborhood is a little run down, but this property was great for what we needed. About a 45 minute drive to Talladega Superspeedway.

Perfect lodging for visit with local family.

Property was clean, quiet, and (for our needs) centrally located for family members sure whom we wished to visit and share meals. Kitchen & dining were sufficiently equipped for our group of six and eight, that we entertained there. We would book this property again.
