This was a very clean property, rooms were good, had everything we needed. It fronted onto a busy and sometimes loud street. It didn't feel like the most family friendly neighborhood. It was a quick drive over the bridge to downtown Halifax which was nice and a grocery store was 2 blocks away.

The apartment is fantastically furnished , it’s clean, bright and very open. Great little touches added by the host to make it feel very homey. One challenge is getting in the front door, it sticks a bit but once you get the trick it’s easy. The place was exactly what we were looking for and central for our stay. We loved it and would stay again. Some better light blocking curtains in the bedrooms would be nice :)

Everything about this property was great! My husband and two friends thought it was fabulous. It was clean, nicely designed to every detail - They did a really fabulous job creating a east coast vibe cottage in an apartment (which was really spacious)!The property is close enough to walk (about 20 mins for us and you can just go down one block and walk along the water and look at all the pretty houses) to downtown Dartmouth and the ferry or it is a five minute drive.The three bedrooms were spacious and offered us a comfortable sleep by the end of the night. The only thing I would keep in mind is that there is not blackout curtains, so if you are sensitive to light, I would bring a sleep mask for those spring/summer mornings. To be honest, this did not really bother us though! It was nice to walk up naturally to some light.We came right before the summer heat, but there is a small AC unit in the main dining area - so I cannot say what this apartment would be like in the middle of summer, as it has no central AC. The amenities were tip top, they even left us a few snackies to get us started off for the trip! There was lots of coffee, but if you are a tea drinker, you might want to request for a few extra bags before your stay! If not, there is a no frills right by, only a 2 min drive!Overall, I would definetly come back and stay here! It was awesome and I am so glad we got to snag it before anyone else!
