We had a wonderful stay! The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great girls’ weekend. The hot tub was such a fun bonus, and the backyard was beautiful. The host was lovely and the whole experience was easy and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!
Loved our stay. After our stay the price went down considerable. Although we arrived after the stampede was over. So if you want to enjoy this great place now it's fantastic price

Dishes were in cupboard dirty and hot tub jets where fountain should be brown and water just shooting out. Kitchen not well equipped for cooking

Thank you for your feedback.
We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. Our kitchen is stocked with the basic necessities for cooking and meal preparation that we feel are appropriate for a short-term vacation rental. While it may not have every item that someone would typically have in their own personal kitchen, we do provide the essential cookware, dishes, utensils, and appliances for guests to prepare meals during their stay.
Regarding the hot tub fountain, the fountain pipe itself is brown in color due to the material used by the manufacturer. This is the normal appearance of the pipe and is not due to dirt or discoloration. The fountain is also designed to shoot water upward and above the surface of the hot tub, so the water flow described is its intended operation.
As for the dishes found in the cupboard, we sincerely apologize. Our property is professionally cleaned between every stay, and this appears to have been an oversight during the cleaning and inspection process. We have addressed this with our cleaning team and will ensure additional attention is given to checking dishes and kitchenware before future guests arrive.
We appreciate the feedback and continually use guest comments to improve the experience we provide.
This house exceeded our expectations. Very clean, lots of space for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The fireplace and hot tub were a nice added bonus. Great location as well, lots of amenities close by.
Was very good. Only thing is it looked like people hadn't been there to check up on the place before we checked in. Everything in the backyard was blown around from a windstorm probably.
The property was described well in the listing and exceeded our expectations. It was clean and very comfortable. Beds were very great and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and loved the easy access to amenities in South Calgary. Jason was great to communicate with.
The house is great for family dinners, the big kitchen table worked well for the dinners, card games and just having coffee and chatting. It would have been nice if the fireplace worked and maybe the living room had a lamp or two - being November it was was dark. A nice spacious house with big windows.
The Luxury Blue House is a gem!! We had a fantastic stay!! We’ve stayed in many different rentals and this one was one of the best by far. The home was clean and had almost everything we needed. If it is missing anything, it would be a laundry facility. We stayed for 13 days and the convenience would have been appreciated. We weren’t able to take advantage of the backyard space, which looks like it would be a fantastic time the warmer months but we did use the bbq and it worked perfectly with all the utensils you would need. As a big coffee drinker, the coffee station had lots of flavours to choose from in both coffee and tea!! The open concept main floor is very inviting and comfortable and we found the bed very comfy as well. Both showers have shampoo, conditioners and body wash for your convenience! It was the perfect location for us, just a 5 min walk to our daughter and family. We look forward to booking again in the very near future. Thank You Jason!
We were disappointed that there was no AC as advertised on your VRBO site. When we arrived it was 29C downstairs and around 34C upstairs. We specifically chose this VRBO as it said there was AC. We debated opening the windows because there were no screens on them. We finally did open all windows but struggled with insects and mosquitoes. The hot tub was not functioning when we arrived but turned the breaker off then on and was functioning. Unfortunately the temperature was cool. It also had sand in it. There are a few maintenance issues that should be address. 1) The sink in master bath is blocked 2) The right window in master bedroom does not stay up 3) The ice maker in the fridge does not work properly4) The BBQ almost caught fire. It needs to be cleaned5) There were not enough bath towels and hot tub towels for all guests (I advised upon booking we were 5 adults) 6) No oven mits, tea towels or hand towels in powder room7) General cleanliness: floors, windows, master bath tub surround

Hi Maureen,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
Your stay took place in May, before our summer season. At that time, our seasonal window A/C units had not yet been installed, as they are typically in service from June through September. We understand this was disappointing and appreciate your comments.
The hot tub issue was resolved by resetting the breaker, and we're glad it was functioning afterward. Any sand present was likely the result of the recent weather, and the water has since been serviced.
Regarding the maintenance items you mentioned, we appreciate you bringing them to our attention. The master bathroom sink, bedroom window, and ice maker have all since been inspected and addressed.
We apologize that the BBQ was not in the condition you expected. It is professionally cleaned between guests, but we will review our inspection procedures to ensure propane levels and cleanliness are checked more carefully.
The home is professionally cleaned before every check-in, and our inspection records confirmed it was prepared prior to your arrival. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding towels and kitchen supplies, and we have since reviewed our inventory to better accommodate larger groups.
Thank you again for your feedback, which helps us continue improving the guest experience.
Manque des rideaux opaques dans les chambresC’est très clair le matin Et le lit de bois trop gros pour la chambre et trop bas et accordait dans la porte
Enjoyed our stay in Calgary for our 25th anniversary! Loved the hot tub!! The neighborhood was quiet and had easy access to major roadways. We appreciated the snacks left out too!
We loved staying here it was a nice quiet place after a busy day with over 27000 people. We weren't able to use the hot tub but it was a nice option. It was like a home away from home. We would book here again if we come back. Thanks for letting stay here.
What Was Great:
I book approximately four homes each year and typically stay for a week at a time. I found this property to be bright, clean, and modern, located in a very nice and safe neighborhood.
One thing that particularly impressed me was the attention to safety. I have never stayed in a home that was so well equipped with fire extinguishers and even a first aid kit. Well done to the hosts for thinking of these details.
The large-screen television was excellent and came loaded with Netflix and YouTube, which was a great bonus. The kitchen was fully equipped and even included a Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods provided, which was much appreciated.
Areas for Improvement:
A washer and dryer would be a valuable addition, especially for guests staying a week or longer.
The home does not have central air conditioning. There is a window unit downstairs and another in one of the three upstairs bedrooms. Guests staying in either of the two bedrooms without air conditioning may find this uncomfortable during warmer weather.
My colleague also attempted to use the hot tub, but unfortunately it was not working during our stay.
Finally, I would recommend upgrading the seating in the downstairs living area. After a long day of meetings, a comfortable couch or a large, cozy chair would have made a significant difference. While the current couch looks attractive, it is not particularly comfortable for relaxing or lounging
