Wonderful family weekend. Great to explore the Breckinridge mountains and town.

The home was warm and cozy. Having the creak was relaxing. Our daughter enjoyed camping out in the comfortable loft. Great location to town and the trail heads.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Velvet Moose. It was such a beautiful location. The house was clean and very comfortable. The host was welcoming and did a wonderful job communicating. We would definitely stay her if we visited the area again.

We had a wonderful time at the Velvet Moose!! Beautiful cabin, everything you need is available!! Amazing creek right behind the cabin!! The host was amazing… answered every question quickly!! Very easy to work with!!

The cabin is in a great location, very accommodating staff and plenty of room. It could afford some upgrades and only one bathroom is not ideal, but we only did one night, so it worked for us!

Great Cabin for a weekend getaway.

We loved our short day at the Velvet Moose. Doug was so accommodating and checked in with us to make sure everything was OK. He was so easy to get a hold of ahead of time and even let us check in two hours early. It was a very cozy house and my husband and dog and I spent lots of time in the living room just hanging out and relaxing. We also really enjoyed sitting by the creek and listening to the calming noises. We took a few short hikes with our dog and our favorite was around sawmill lake, which was just a few miles away. Thank you, Doug. We will definitely recommend your place to friends visiting from out of town.

The house was very nice. The host left a nice gift basket. We had a little trouble getting in initially but the host helped resolve it and did what he could to make things right.
