"A Buena Vista" is that plus more! This 5 bedroom, 4 bath home is situated off of South Beach. This tastefully decorated home will leave you with many great family memories.

A Buena Vista sleeps 14 people. Downstairs is the main living area, including a large screen porch with a comfortable sectional sofa. There is also a spacious deck with outdoor dining and additional seating. There are two master suites (1 King, 1 Queen) in the home with en suite bathrooms, one upstairs and one down with recently renovated bathrooms! All the bedrooms come with access to their own walkout decks. There is another queen bedroom downstairs and a room with two twin beds upstairs. The 5th bedroom has an additional 2 bunk beds with a trundle perfect for the kiddos!

There is plenty of outdoor space under the house including more seating, outdoor games and a great outdoor shower! Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon beverage on any of the spacious deck space to enjoy Bald Head's great island views.

Beautiful well appointed house

The house is beautiful, all bathrooms recently remodeled. Very comfortable beds and kitchen was extremely well stocked. We appreciated all of the extras (chairs, beach towels, lots of boogie boards and beach “stuff”). Loved playing corn hole and ping pong in the evenings. Great family vacation spot!!

Sister’s big 30th!!!

We had a small debacle during check in that the propriety manager was able to work out quickly. Photos were accurate and property was clean and bug free on the inside. Great location. Other than that we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely stay again.

Thanksgiving retreat

What a perfect house. We had two families with 8 people. This house was perfect. Great bedroom arrangement. Wonderful living spaces and well outfitted kitchen. Nothing but good things to say about this rental and we will certainly be back.

Great updated house

We enjoyed our stay at a Buena vista! We had two families and so having four bathrooms (nicely updated!) was great, along with the den and screened in porch. The kids loved having the bikes and being close to everything. The only hiccup we had is that the bathroom floors in two bathrooms were not cleaned, but we did it ourselves. Overall a great stay!!

Another Great Stay At BHI!

This was a particularly nice property because it had been recently updated and the rooms were super well designed and comfortable… and well appointed from kitchen items to games and bikes! Everything was neat and clean the carts worked perfectly and the location was ideal near the Bald Head Island club where we had a membership for the week! And of course we always love working with Edie and Katie as property managers they are always super easy to work with and we’re so grateful to rent from them when we can! Highly Recommend!

We had a fantastic time!

We spent a long weekend at A Buena Vista this spring and had a great time! The house has a great layout, especially for a multi-generational family. There are lots of different areas to hang out and the house is well stocked. The pictures accurately represent the space and decor - always a relief! The golf carts were ready to go and worked great, house was clean, and we were happy with the location - both with the proximity to the beach and ease of getting around to other locations on the island. Overall we were just really happy with the experience and would definitely stay here again in the future!

Perfect Island Getaway

We loved our time at A Buena Vista! The house was clean and as-described, the location was great, and we really enjoyed all of the living spaces as well as the amenities (boogie boards, beach chairs, and bikes!). The loft space does have a door, so everyone was able to have their own room. Bathrooms don't have any toiletries beyond a little hand soap, so be sure to bring your own. Thank you!

March visit to Bald Head Island

It is a lovely home filled with unique spaces, including multiple-level outdoor seating spots for reading, relaxing, and family meals. The decor is bright and vibrant, which is comfortable and inviting. All bathrooms are up-to-date with colorful tile work and exceptional showers. The loft is great for movies and games. The home has comfortable beds, a stocked kitchen, a new grill, beach chairs, bikes, and two golf carts, all items in excellent condition. We hope to come back in the summer to enjoy the location (ocean views with beach access across the road).

Nice location but needs some love

The location was great. The house had ample room for our family of 9. This house has lots of potential with a little love & care. The outdoor screened in porch was fabulous and the deck area is awesome. The house came with ping pong tables, outside games and lots of sand toys for kids. Internet service was fabulous since a few of us had to work some during the week! It was also great having Netflix, etc for the kids to have a few movie nights! The house is decorated lovely and the large dining table was perfect! Upon arrival, on the surface the house looked clean and nice but after a closer look we noticed the house definitely needs a refresh of paint and a deep clean. The banisters, and doors need a cleaning and the walls throughout are scratched and dinged up. The sheets and pillows need to be replaced on a few of the beds due to wear and pilling. The kitchen cabinets were chaos trying to find glasses, cookware, etc. with everything thrown haphazard into the cabinets so we arranged it neatly to be able to function through the week in an organized manner. We had plenty of beach towels but limited bath towels and washcloths and only 2 dish towels so we had to wash towels quite often. The refrigerator door was hard to seal properly and had broken bins and no ice maker besides the crushed ice at he door - we did inform the rental agency of this and they ordered parts. A few more nicer beach chairs would help since some were broken. The 6 passenger golf cart no matter if it’s fully charged struggles to get up the hills and is very slow so we were constantly causing “traffic jams”. We have been renting at BHI for many years so I don't expect it all to be perfect. However, I do expect the rental to be up to par with the cost of the week. All and all, it was a wonderful week with family and we are looking forward to our next BHI vacation in a few years.

Great week

The house was very nice. Amenities like ping pong table and bag toss were fun to play in the evenings. Our umbrella broke but the house had umbrellas that we were able to use. This is a great location. Quick and easy golf cart ride (or short walk) to south beach public access. This location is also convenient to the market and shops as well as the marina area. We had some questions about the ferry and Katie was quick to respond. This house will be on our short list of places to stay again!

COVID-19 Honeymoon

After our international trip got cancelled, we headed down to BHI for a later- planned honeymoon. It was our first time here and we found the island very charming! The house had plenty of room, golf carts, bikes, beach chairs, and a great view off the balcony and screened in porch. It was also a great location from pretty much anywhere on the island! We will recommend a buena vista and BHI to anyone interested!
