The property was nice, however dish I went to use I had to wash beforehand. Everything seem to have a residue on it. Not a big problem but just something to note. The host was easy to communicate with and I had a great stay.
This cabin is very cute and exactly what we needed for a cold and rainy long weekend! David is a wonderful host and helped to make our stay extremely enjoyable! Super location and a perfect little getaway.

We enjoyed the quaint A-frame space. We had a very adventurous weekend and didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked at the Vrbo, but the time we did have we enjoyed thoroughly.
Honestly it was a great place to stay while salmon fishing, the futon and bed were comfortable. It is a small space, but the price is fair for what you get. Being 6'5", the shower was a little cramped for me but it had all the hot water you needed so there is nothing to complain about! No WiFi, but that was a great excuse to ignore work.
Host was quick to respond to my last minute reservation for the following day with suggestions to have the address/map & key code instructions saved since cell service is limited around that area. Appreciated the advice so we could be prepared. Since we arrived during the snowstorm there was concern about the roads/driveway not being plowed but all was passable. The central location between BigM and Caberfae was perfect for our stay with the bonus of Dublin Store minutes away for grabbing snacks. The A-Frame was cozy for the 3 of us. 2 of us slept in the loft and one on the futon. It was pretty warm in the loft from the stove that’s used to heat the A-Frame that I suggest packing a small fan. We made good use of the tiny kitchen. It was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The limited cell service and no WiFi might discourage some but it was refreshing to disconnect from the algorithms of smart phones. It was so quiet there and the fresh snow made the whole scene picturesque. Will be planning to stay here again
We had a great time! The cabin is cozy and the trails near by are wonderful. The cabin has everything we would have needed, towels, microwave and stove/ oven, Keurig, coffee maker, utensils and cookware, tv and DVD player. We stayed 3 nights and only left for the trails. Will definitely come back.
Cabin was small but very cool set up. Great use of space. Very well kept up and clean. Large grocery store and gas within a mile of the cabin. Really enjoyed the stay. We stayed with my wife, myself, and our teen son and didn't really feel cramped. If you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a tiny house, definitely check it out!

Great location close to gas station, jerky store and fishing spots. Nice quiet neighborhood. Lot of nearby options for things to do. Enjoyed a 2 night fishing trip. Very nice cabin. Love the back porch/fire pit setup. We ended up grilling dinner every night. We were even able to watch the Michigan game at the cabin. The crystal clear night sky made for an amazing view of the stars that you can't see in the city. Awesome place, we definitely plan on coming back. Thank you!
Two of us stayed in the cabin for a weekend during the winter, and it was so cozy! The fireplace did a great job of heating the space, and kicks on automatically. We had no problem staying warm. As other reviews stated, though it backs up to woods, it is in a neighborhood. But there is a decent amount of seclusion. The exterior has also been painted black recently, so it looks different than the pictures, but the black looks great! Cooking supplies and utensils were conveniently in the cabin as well as towels and a few toiletries which was really helpful. VRBO Owner was quick and responsive to any questions we had. Hoping to stay again in the future!

The cabin wasnt terrible, but they could have done some more cleaning and repairs of the cabin to make it look a little less run down. We had a problem with the oven not working and had to call the owner the first day...and he asked where the husband was to fix it. That was a little rude and sexist. The beds werent comfortable at all and the toiletries that were provided were, what looked like, old products people had left behind...and i dont realy want to use someones partially used body wash. I guess i just wasnt very impressed with how much i paid.

The day before there arrival the pilot was on, it states above the gas knob do not turn off. Someone upon there arrival turned it off. Anna contacted me at 9:30 pm on Friday and said the oven was not working. I was out of town or I would have went there. I said I would walk here through the lighting of the oven. It was clear after a short period of time she would not be capable of doing this. I asked her if anyone else was there? I never asked for her husband that was a lie on her part. She stated they would be fine. I said I can be there in the morning she said don’t worry about it. This cabin rents for $90 a night the going rate up north is $110 to $130. I would refer guests to visit my 50 4/5 star ratings in regards to this cabin. Thanks David
