Wonderful place to decompress by enjoying the views of the water and ever-changing skies and clouds from the deck and inside the house, as well as watching the mist and rippling water with the breezes at different times of day. We went out on the deck in the middle of the night to stargaze and sense the immensity of the universe and watched sunrises and sunsets every day. Did puzzles on the large table in the dining area overlooking the water in the afternoon, and slept comfortably at night. Fall is a great time to visit Singing Sands and the whole Tobermory area without crowds. Thank you Alexis and Canada for the opportunity!
We had a great time staying at this cottage. It was cozy, great view, very clean. Time flew by. Thanks to the host for welcoming us and letting us make some good memories here!
This place is lovely. The view from the deck is wonderful and the location is excellent for Tobermory. There were some communication issues. The listing states in two places that bath towels are provided. However, the welcome message received just before arriving said no bath towels are provided. When contacted, the host provided 4 bath towels, no wash cloths or hand towels. More problematic was the internet which we were never able to connect and we did not receive a solution from the host. Otherwise the place is very nice and a good place to stay to visit the Bruce peninsula.
We had a lovely relaxing weekend. The cottage is spacious and located in a beautiful lakeside setting.Check in was a breeze and Alexis answered our requests promptly.Would happily stay here again.
