The pictures do not do this place justice. It is absolutely gorgeous. The style is modern meets farm. The game room was amazing and kept my family entertained for hours. The outside entertainment area was also very nice and well kept. The owners were easy to communicate with and responsive. The area was safe and quiet. I was a little concerned staying so far out of town, but I think that is what makes the place special and the drive to activities was easy.

Very quiet. Owners live across road. Very nice and caring people. Enjoyed them. Spacious house. Everything you will need is provided. Would differently recommend this house for a stay.

Bucolic & Beautiful!

We had an excellent time staying at this gem in Femme Osage. The house was spotlessly clean and the attention to detail was noticeable. This old historic farmhouse had all the charm you would expect but at the same time contained all the modern conveniences of the 21st century. The grounds were peaceful and well maintained and the game room (in the converted detached garage) is EPIC. So cool and fun. The owners (who literally live right across the street) were very helpful, responsive, and friendly. We had a great time and would definitely return if we ever revisit the area. Highly recommended!

The location was great! Quiet, country setting, but close enough to larger towns. The house was gorgeous! We had 5 quilters, and we all had plenty of room for our "stuff". Everything was available for us to use. We had one little hiccup, but the owners were there immediately to fix it. They were great to work with! They invited us to a local church fundraising dinner, which was so good. Very kind, very attentive. The locals were so friendly, too! We would like to come back again some time. Highly recommend!

Thank you for such a lovely review! We're so glad our home gave your group of quilters plenty of room to spread out and be creative, and that the house lived up to expectations. It's wonderful to hear our tiny community made an impression on you too. We loved having you and appreciate the kind words and recommendation!

Lovely Location

Very interesting old house with the usual foibles of an old building but also with the modern conveniences that make a stay enjoyable. We were in town for a dog show circuit at Purina Farms and the host was most welcoming of our dogs. They even supplied a poop bag dispenser- if you are a dog person you know how those sorts of touches make you feel welcome I much appreciated the hot tub. We had a couple of glitches but the host sorted them out in a timely manner for us. Lovely area

We are so glad you and your beautiful dogs enjoyed your stay! The home was left in perfect condition considering we had a few ‘furry guests’. We’d love to welcome you back for the next Purina event.
