Our Decks have the most Beautiful, & Breathtaking views overlooking Lake Hamilton/ Ouachita River. Come Watch the Fish Jumping, the Eagles flying, and the Canadian Geese swimming right up to you. This is Nature at its Finest!!!

Bring your Fishing Boat / Pleasure Boat / Pontoon Boat / Canoe's / Kayak's, Inner tubes, Floating Rafts or even your Jet Ski's with you, when you come, Because you can also Swim right here at the Lodge.

Cause we also have our own Private Boat Launch, and our own Private Boat Dock for our guests to use anytime.

Our Unique Log Cabin Home is just a few feet from the waters edge, and offers Breathtaking Views of Lake Hamilton.

GUESTS ACCESS

All 3, of our Upstairs Cabins are 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, and all have a Fully Furnished kitchen. Each upstairs units have their own Private set of stairs, and their own Private outdoor deck dividers for Privacy. The outside deck dividers can also be opened, if you choose to visit with our other guests..
Our Downstairs Executive Suite is Full Equipped also, with 3 Bedrooms, 2 full Baths, with a Washer, & Dryer, and the whole private rear deck overlooking the water is not shared with no other.

Warm greeting! Communication was great with the owner. The property is right on the river and a relaxing setting for fresh air and nature. We had a fire going in the fire pit in the evening. I suppose the only issue was some people who were above us came in late, stomped around and were loud partying until 3am. We plan to stay here again in the Spring and bring our kayaks.

Very relaxing property! Lots of wildlife on the river! Eagles, Canada geese, herons and lots of fish. Close to many attractions in Hot Springs. Kids loved playing in the water which was ice cold in July!

Rental for part of the family. Our stay was perfect. The cabin was so clean, beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was well furnished. The back desk was wonderful for early morning coffee. We definitely will be back during warmer weather.

Fun on the water

Scenery is stunningly beautiful and the river tho cold was refreshing to jump into on a hot day. Kevin was very responsive to all questions and needs during our week long stay. Kids loved it, dog loved it. Quiet and peaceful. 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very nice. The deck was uncomfortable in the afternoons, due to the sun blazing down on it. Ceiling fans on the deck would have been nice. All in all, the family was very happy and had a wonderful time.

Weekend Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin on the lower level. It was clean, had beautiful scenery, and had lots of things in the kitchen to cook/bake with. Close to botanical garden and bathe house row in Hot Springs; only a 20 min drive through beautiful trees. Very close to grocery store for supplies; about 8 min drive. Very fast communication with the owner. We had a great time!

Birthday Vacation

It was my birthday weekend (April 15), I wanted to do something different. My husband suggested renting a lodge so we invited my parents and we had a marvelous time. The lodge was beautiful. Didn’t have much luck fishing but we still had an enjoyable time. Absolutely love this place will definitely plan another trip here in the future.

We never received email for door code. Spent over 30 minutes talking to neighbors to get contact number for host to let us in. It is a beautiful location and will likely stay again. Big sign posted on property with old owners number, this sign needs updated with correct contact information.

Overall enjoyed our stay. We really did. But - some, let’s call it, ‘detail’ work needs to be done to bring the location to a 5 star review. Shower curtains should be cleaned/replaced, the “log” walls need to be dusted desperately, and the leaky toilet should be addressed. The bed in the master was hard and ultimately proved un-sleepable by someone with a bad back. That was not the case with the other two rooms though so we did a little sleeping space shuffle amongst ourselves. Ultimately- All these things could be easily remedied. We would return to the location.

Father's Day vacation

We enjoyed the location of the VRBO and its easy access to the lake. The house was a great house but it is definitely not clean. Hard to feel comfortable when it’s dirty. Many kitchen drawers are filthy. Some with dead bugs. Mold on shower curtain liners. Some walls are very dusty. The deck ceiling and walls have a lot of spider webs. Missing some basic items — hand soap at the kitchen, salt and pepper were almost empty, no oil. It was nice that they dropped off these things. If cleanliness is not an issue, we would probably go back and stay here again and even recommend it to our friends. Hope owners can remedy these issues.

Great view but needs work

We stayed in the bottom unit which is the whole bottom floor. You can hear EVERYTHING upstairs.. talking, walking or stomping and everytime the toilet is flushed. However, the beds were comfortable and the view is amazing. Before other guests upstairs arrived, it was very quiet and peaceful. The parking is confusing when all units have someone staying in them. The AC upstairs leaks right out of the master bedroom balcony doors. There was mold on the shower curtains. All the silverware in the drawers needed to be washed and every knife was dull, making cutting our dinner difficult. The water leaks around the toilet in the master bathroom. Our biggest complaint was that the floors were dirty. We could not go without shoes or socks on, even in the bathrooms. Overall, an okay stay but probably would not stay again if in the area.

There was mold and dust everywhere. The porch had webs and pollen like it hadn’t been cleansed all year. Some of the sheets felt like they were sandy or not washed. Things in the shelves were not cleaned (dishes and utensils) and the sponges were all used and worn out. Definitely felt like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. Disappointing because in the photos are not recent. Would not recommend for the price. The view is nice from the porch but the location is in a single family neighborhood. Definitely misleading. There are three upstairs units above and it is not private. Someone upstairs spilled a mystery fluid on their porch and it fell through the wooden deck and onto us. Ruined the chill vibe.

A Short Family Getaway

We came to spend time as a family at a quiet place. We thought we would be able to enjoy using floats in the beautiful river but the water temp was FRIGID! We cooked breakfast and dinner each night - kitchen was adequately supplied for what we wanted to cook. There were no wine glasses which would have been nice to have. The Harps Grocery store had what we needed to buy. We went to the top of the Blakely Dam and enjoyed the view, walked Bathhouse Row, drove to Lake Catherine State Park and did a hike (loved it), went to the Observation Tower at the top of Hot Springs, visited Garvin Gardens and the Cooper Chapel (wonderful), the Greenwood Cemetery and some consignment shops. When we had questions, Kevin the manager, was prompt to reply and help. Kitchen had salt/pepper, Keurig cups, creamer and sugar. No filters for the big coffee pot or any other spices. Ice maker worked very well. We didn't use the grill. We enjoyed the sunsets immensely. There was an eagle off and on in a tree across the river. We walked in the mornings on the roads by the house and had no issues. All in all, a nice family break.

I'LL START BY SAYING I HATE TO LEAVE A BAD REVIEW ANYWHERE, YA KNOW THE OLD "IF YA CAN'T SAY SOMETHING NICE" ....BUT I WHOLEHEARTEDLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.THE OWNER/ MGR IS DISHONEST, AND YES I'VE SAVED ALL THE MSGS THAT VERIFY THIS STATEMENT. 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO CHECK IN THE OWNER/MGR CONTACTS ME TO TELL ME THE A/C IS OUT, WHICH HE KNEW ABOUT AT LEAST A DAY PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL. .HE TELLS ME THE A/C CREW WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BE BACK BEFORE MONDAY. HE OFFERS $100 OFF AND SOME BOX FANS. MIND YOU MY FAMILY AND I HAVE JUST TRAVELED 5 HRS FOR A WEEKS VACATION WITH 2 CABINS AND ITS 93* THAT DAY, SO MY OPTIONS WERE LIMITED. AN HOUR LATER HE MSG'S ME AND SAYS IT WILL BE THURSDAY OR FRIDAY BEFORE THE A/C PART WILL ARRIVE, SO HE OFFERS ME $500 OFF AND THE USE OF THE WATERCRAFT (A KAYAK AND JONBOAT) WHICH I WAS UNAWARE WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL??? OF COURSE HE RENEGED ON THE 500 AND REFUNDED ONLY 100. AS I RENTED 2 UNITS BE AWARE THAT ANY NOISE, WALKING, FURNITURE MOVING, LOUD TALKING MADE IN THE UPSTAIRS UNITS ARE AMPLIFIED IN THE LOWER UNIT. AS STATED IN MY REVIEW OF CABIN 3, THE NEIGHBORS ARE OBNOXIOUS TO SAY THE LEAST. THE UNIT HAD ANTS, AND PARKING IS HAPHAZARD AT BEST.
