We enjoyed our stay here in nakusp. Although rustic we appreciated comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, a fire with firewood generously provided and the town easily accessible on foot. So many amenities right out the front door. Although located on the main road it was quiet.

The location is great but it is not a "Heritage Home". It is an old house in desperate need of TLC. Every dish, mug, glass, cutlery, pot and pan had to be washed before it could be used, knobs missing from cupboard doors, windows and doors that don't function, noisy ceiling fans.... too many shabby things to list. We were 2 couples so with 3 bedrooms had lots of room. The yard is lovely but there was only 2 chairs on the deck, so difficult to enjoy the yard. And with the terrible odor in the house it would have been nice to be outside. We have no problem with funky old homes and have stayed in lots but this property is just plain run down.
