Small 2-room apartment with a cozy seating area,
Kitchenette in the living room, separate bedroom with balcony, centrally located in a small town house. On the opposite side of the street is the forested Schloßberg, with jogging trails, on the back the city center. 5 minutes to the wonderful daily cathedral market, and of course to the Gothic cathedral, 10 minutes. to the theater, 3 minutes to the cinema, pubs, restaurants and jazz house. Other happy on request. The tram stop is about 2 minutes away, as is the oldest inn in Germany, "Zum rote Bären"

Our host was very responsive and the position of the apartment was great being very close to the old town and easy to get to walking trails. Unfortunately it was in the middle of a heat wave so we had to sleep with windows open, which allowed a lot of traffic noise.

This was a great place to stay for a short trip to Freiburg. You are right in the centre of everything, with the old town a few minutes away and a mountain across the street with plenty of paths and cafes. The apartment is small but clean (very small bathroom but everything works!) The host was a great communicator and made everything easy. He even offered to pick us up from the train station which was very kind. I would definitely recommend this little flat to anyone.

This is a great apartment and a great location. I was so pleased to have found this place for 3 nights. It was very comfortable and clean, with lots of space, and I was able to cook dinners for a local friend. Just a wonder place for relaxing. I highly recommend this apartment.

Our week in Freiburg

This sweet little apartment was just what we wanted, close to the old town, the hosts were great. My only complaint is that the bathroom was too small and the shower curtain was broken. I would stay here again if I ever return to Freiburg

Amazing stay in Freiburg

Waltraut and his wife could not be more welcoming and kind. We were lucky to encounter them in the village a few times after checking in and they were always so nice and ready to recommend places for us to eat and drink. If you come to Freiburg, there is no better place stay and no better people to meet! The bathroom is small, but for a short stay it wa a perfect.

This place is the perfect place for two people and within walking distance to all the attractions in the center of town. It is across the street from a beautiful green park where once there was a castle. Climb up to the top and get the most beautiful views of the city. The owner was extremely kind and overall wonderful.

City Center

The location was perfect, on the edge of the historic city center and across from a park. Third floor walk up, small but workable. The owner was responsive and had someone there waiting for us. The bathroom was small, but was okay for 3 night stay. The city of Freiberg is beautiful.

Nice place, great location, with a separate bedroom.

The apartment had all basic necessities. Nothing extra. Communication was slow. Checkin was easy and they even offered early check in. Waltreut was very nice to deal with, once we got connected.

Fantastic Location

Location is the key to this compact and functional apartment: Right by the Schwabentor, 2 minutes walk to the tram stop and a short walk and lift to the view point and beer garden called Kastaniengarten. Check in was great with the owners meeting us just outside! Little noise from the main Road outside due to triple glazing; small outdoor space and pleasant and clean living space. The bathroom was a ‘wet room’ which was small but it worked for our stay. Used as a base as the weather was good and lots of exploration to be undertaken it suited us perfectly.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. In wenigen Minuten ist man mitten in der Innenstadt. Trotz der Lage an einer vielbefahrenen Straße ist es aufgrund der guten Schallisolierung ruhig. Es war sehr sauber und in der Wohnung hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Bad ist recht klein, aber darauf wird in der Anzeige ja auch deutlich hingewiesen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit der Gastgeberin. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt. Ich würde jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Wie bereits erwähnt, auch von der Gastgeberin, ist das Bad klein, aber für einen kürzeren Aufenthalt vollkommen ausreichend! Das Schlafzimmer nach hinten raus ist total ruhig!Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war super!Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Es wäre toll, wenn der Toaster einen Aufsatz hätte, so könnte man auch Brötchen warm machen und muss nicht jeden Morgen los zum Brötchen holen.
