🤍 We’ve just returned from a wonderful week here with our two daughters, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. The setting is simply idyllic – peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect place to completely switch off. We never tired of sitting outside, taking in the views and watching the wildlife. It’s one of those rare places that looks even better in real life.We visited during an intense heatwave, so the swimming pool and air conditioning were absolute lifesavers. We spent hours in the pool, and it was the perfect way to cool off after our 20-minute walk to the boulangerie each morning for fresh baguettes and pastries.Although it was too hot to venture far, Trémolat has several lovely restaurants – the pizzeria was excellent, although a little hot – and nearby Limeuil is well worth a visit. This beautiful picturesque historic village, where the Dordogne and Vézère rivers meet, is ideal for exploring, hiring a canoe and enjoying an ice cream. The property was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday. The USB charging ports in the kitchen were a particularly useful touch, especially as we forgot our plug adaptors!Arno was always on hand to answer any questions, and the property guide was very helpful. We’re so grateful to have found this little slice of paradise and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, in fact we already have. We’d happily return in a heartbeat.
