Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the open upper deck or the lower covered deck and watch dolphins frolic in the ocean waves. Cape San Blas is still one of the last secluded beaches in Florida, but only minutes from shopping and restaurants in the quaint town of Port St. Joe. The beach is wide and filled with shells. You will enjoy watching the pelicans gliding over your head and the shore birds scampering in the surf looking for their next meal. At night the sky is black and you will see more stars than you ever thought imaginable.
Coy T. by the Sea is filled with windows so you can enjoy the view from practically every room in this Gulf front home. Come and enjoy this spacious beach house with only sand and water in front of you. All you need to do when you walk through the door is start having fun.
Calming colors greet you as you enter the home. The kitchen with granite counter tops is well stocked. There is a wet bar with an extra mini fridge to fuel cocktail hour or to fill with extra water and drinks.

The main floor has a two-room Master Suite, complete with a comfy king-sized bed. It has it's own sitting room, which is separated by barn doors and has a queen sleeper sofa with tv and access to the screened porch. There is a small desk for any work you may bring with you. This room offer sweeping views of the gulf and has a full private bath. When you enter the suite you have your bath to the left and your king bed to the right. This layout is great for a family who needs extra sleeping quarters or for couples who want to gather with friends or family and then retire to their own rooms for some private time.
Upstairs you will find a second suite with a similar layout - This is our beach front, two-room Family Suite. This bedroom has a king bed and a full private bath. Double barn doors offer privacy to an attached bunk room perfect for up to four additional guests. The bunk room has full bed, twin bunks. and has a smart TV perfect for movie time or a DVD. The property was lovely! I thought it was better in person than in the photos! The area was beautiful, quiet, and great for a relaxing time, and good restaurants for evening dinners.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We are happy to have hosted you at the Coy T. and will welcome you back anytime. :)
Coy T is a great value in a beachfront location in one of our favorite areas. The owner is very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We look forward to staying there again.
Beautiful home. Clean. Had wonderful updates. Fully stocked with everything needed.Robin is an amazing host! Very responsive. The location is perfect. This was our second time staying at Coy T and we plan to make it our permanent vacation spot!
We had a great week at Coy T by the Sea! The owner is so responsive and helpful. The house was clean and looked as advertised. It accommodated 11 of us well. The kitchen was the most well stocked we’ve ever had on a trip. We loved the views and although the boardwalk seems long it is a short walk with a beautiful view. The beach was not crowded and we saw beautiful sunrises every day of our stay. We love that it was close to the State Park and was not far from downtown. Thanks Robin for sharing your home with us!
Loved staying at Coy T by the sea, excellent communication with the owner throughout the process, plenty of room for everyone to have their space (6 adults & 4 kids from ages 4-14), loved being right on beach. We will definitely be booking to stay again.
Thank you Karen for your visit with us and being such a great guest. Our communications throughout your stay made me feel as if we'd known each other a long time. Come back anytime!
The property was great. Great location for our family. We like a place with beach access and not a lot of people. This property was great for both. We recommend it and will most likely visit this area again.
Our stay at Coy-T was amazing. It was a perfect fit for our whole family. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the house had everything you would need. The town was cute and quaint lots of good places to eat and shop. The owner was so easy to talk to and was available pretty much 24/7.

Thank you Katelyn! And for taking such good care of our home😊 - we would welcome you back anytime.
My 4 daughters, and 2 of their friends and I all stayed at Coy T. We have been to Florida one other time and the outer banks of North Carolina many times, and this was our favorite place to stay. The close proximity to Port St. Joe, and the cape trading post was perfect. The house has a great view of the ocean, and we saw dolphins multiple times. The beach was wonderful and not very busy. Warm water and big, beautiful waves to boogie board on was perfect. We will definitely be back! Thanks to the owners, and we had a prompt response anytime we had a question. Thanks again!
This was our first time visiting this area of Florida. We fell in love with it and hope to return again. The Coy T was a perfect location and very well stocked. It was so comfortable that after 2 weeks, we wanted to stay even longer! It is a beautiful home!!!

Thank you Linda! I am so glad you all enjoyed your stay.
CoyT provided everything I look for in a rental- great location, well supplied kitchen and comfortable sleeping.
Also the host was easy to contact with issues during our stay.
My favorite was the "reading room" - a place to sit and watch the gulf on chilly/windy days.
Words cannot express how good the overall experience was. Never been to the area, but we will be back. Robin was an incredible host, very attentive and easy to communicate with. You will not be disappointed with the decision to stay at “Coy-T”
Beautiful, clean home with fantastic views and steps to the beach
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything inside was clean and tastefully decorated. We loved the layout/floor plan. I have never stayed in a home where the kitchen was so well stocked - plenty of silverware, plates, utensils, etc... The beach was easily accessible and uncrowded. Would love to come back.

About the host
Hosted by Robin Lunsford
Lunsford Party of 3 - myself, husband Rick and daughter Tatum currently reside in Georgia on a small family farm east of Atlanta. While we would love to spend more time on the Cape, life seems to keep us busy here in Georgia. In our spare time, we love a good home project, activities such as golf and tennis, and SEC football! (I say "Go Dawgs"! My hubby, a UT grad, dances to the tune of "good 'ole Rocky Top")
Why they chose this property
My husband and I decided to purchase this home because we wanted to be able to share the Cape and what it means to us with our friends and family. Originally growing up visiting the beaches of Panama City, this gulf girl fell in love with the quiet quaintness of the Cape when my family began vacationing here about ten years ago. Since then, we have grown to love spending time here unwinding from the real world as it spoils us with its serenity.
What makes this property unique
The name "Coy T by the Sea" gets its roots from four generations and patriarch of my family. My younger sister first coined the phrase "Coy T" , which means 'still, quiet woods,' when she named her Oklahoma ranch after our father, the man who has taught us the strong sense of family to which we hold so dear. She has since purchased an adjoining property that is host to a unique, one hundred year old cabin and beckons the call to guests as well. We hope you will come experience our 'still, quiet beach home;' and if you ever head west to Pawhuska, Oklahoma (home of Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Woman), please consider staying a spell at "The Cabin on the Coy T."
