This home is not recommended for those with kids age 3 and under. Entering the loft there is no railing on the left side of the top stair step which may pose a risk to toddlers.
During your stay, you’ll have exclusive use of the tiny house, propane BBQ grill (with propane provided), firepit (closed during burn bans), hammock, and the private driveway that begins after a shared driveway entrance with the home next door. On our 5-acre property, the tiny house sits on about ¾ of an acre reserved just for its guests, while the neighboring home has roughly 1½ acres designated for its guests. The remaining 2¾ acres is natural, wooded land, giving the property a peaceful, rustic feel. Although the neighboring home is visible, it’s about 150–200 feet away.
My family and I live in Montgomery, TX, and a few times a year we stay at the home next door when we're in Canyon Lake. We respect our guests' privacy and keep to ourselves during our visits.
We take guest privacy seriously. There are no cameras located/view inside the home. The cameras are positioned to only view the driveway and front door.
This tiny home is designed to comfortably accommodate a maximum of 4 adult or teen guests or up to 5 guests with children. It's equipped with 1 queen bed, 2 double beds, and a 20 gallon water heater.

About the host
Hosted by Rachel
My husband induced me to Canyon Lake in 2011. Being from Florida, I quickly fell in love with the clear turquoise water of Canyon Lake. We spent the summers tubing and kayaking all day to avoid the Texas heat. In 2012, we bought the land and have spent the past few years building the main home with the labor of love. In 2019 we bought the tiny house and added it to the property. We are excited to be able to share this place with you and your family. We currently live in Montgomery, TX. Our co-host, Dora, lives nearby and will be available for in person assistance if necessary.
Why they chose this property
This tiny house is super cute and has a fairly private feel. Escape the city and come take a break. It's super close to most things you'd want to do in Canyon Lake plus near to Wimberley and Gruene.
What makes this property unique
We often see wildlife like deer and fox in the early morning or evening hours. Perched on the side of the hill there is often a nice breeze, especially in the evenings. It's perfect location for biking across the dam to Overlook Park.
